It was during this time that I acquired a vast store of product knowledge and a broad understanding of the requirements this sector demands – making sure I was ordering the right product for the right task to keep our workforce safe. 74 | DemolitionHUB Magazine
I founded Fireflux in 2017 when I saw a gap in the market for my specialised knowledge and experience to advise and supply quality British-manufactured products to the construction sector. The business really did start from humble beginnings when I initially began selling glasses, gloves and safety helmets from my van. This led me to open a small unit in Swadlincote in Derbyshire.
How has the business developed? After opening up in Swadlincote, we had to take on additional staff. From there, we kept growing the business – specialising in the supply of a wide range of quality PPE and professional workwear to the demolition, civils and construction sectors.
