MEET THIS WEEK’S VALUED TEAM MEMBER

This is my third year with CESA 7 and my seventh year as an OT. I have a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science and a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Concordia University Wisconsin.

My job title at CESA 7 is Occupational Therapist. My job duties include providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students who experience difficulties with fine motor skills, visualmotor skills, visual-perceptual skills, sensory processing, executive functioning, attention, and self-help/ADLs in the school setting; completing comprehensive evaluations in the areas listed above; supervising certified occupational therapy assistant(s); and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to best serve students in their least restrictive environment.

My favorite thing about this job: honestly, everything! I love working in multiple districts it allows me to meet so many people, serve a wide variety of populations, collaborate, and learn from others, so nothing ever seems repetitive or mundane. I learn something new every day and look forward to continuing to learn and grow each year of my career.
