Staff Showcase MEET THIS WEEK’S VALUED TEAM MEMBER Mindy Frank is a Youth Apprenticeship Coach at Green Bay East, West, and NEW School of Innovation. For three years, she has guided students and served as the CESA 7 LGBTQ2+ Equity & Inclusion Educator, leading with courage, compassion, and purpose while advocating for practices and structures that better serve all students. As a certified Equity and Inclusion Facilitator with advanced equity leadership credentials, Mindy is committed to empowering Youth Apprenticeship students as they navigate the intersecting demands of work, school, and personal growth.

Her favorite part of the role is discovering each student’s future plans and helping them leverage their Youth Apprenticeship experience to acquire skills and knowledge that directly advance their career goals. She enjoys understanding what motivates her students so she can offer targeted, individualized guidance.

Mindy intentionally creates spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to speak their truth, and supported in succeeding. She is also a passionate and steadfast advocate for LGBTQ2+ youth and adults. A trusted presence for students facing barriers related to identity, access, and belonging, she is known for her empathy, adaptability, and collaborative approach. She co-advises East High’s GSA and was honored with the 2022 Green Bay Education Association Diversity Award for her commitment to justice, inclusion, and student empowerment.

Grateful to work alongside a dedicated and collaborative team, Mindy believes meaningful student outcomes are strongest when built together. Outside of work, she is a proud mom of three grown sons, an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new destinations, and a selfproclaimed foodie.

Our team connected with education leaders and changemakers from across the state, showcasing how we’re transforming education together through innovative technology services, a growing Youth Apprenticeship program, and a wide range of impactful learning and special education offerings.
