FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
As summer winds down and the first hints of autumn arrive, I want to celebrate the incredible season we’ve shared together at the Club.
This Summer, members and their guests gathered on the Plaza for memorable evenings outdoors—from sipping seasonal cocktails at Spritz in the City to savory tequila tastings and customrolled cigars at Puff on the Patio. These occasion highlighted what makes our community so special: connection, camaraderie, and a touch of elegance that only the Club can deliver. And we’re not finished yet—our final outdoor event of the season is happening on September 11, and you won’t want to miss it. Mark your calendars now and make sure you’re there to help us send summer out in style!
Nicholas Steege General Manager The Center Club
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make these events possible. Your enthusiasm keeps our calendar— and our spirit—full of life.
Looking ahead, our fall lineup promises to keep the momentum going.
First, we are excited to continue building on the success of Viewpoints, our engaging guest speaker series that features happy hours and more. This program has become a cornerstone for members to connect, exchange ideas, and foster both personal and professional growth. While designed especially for women, Viewpoints welcomes all Center Club members to join these
inspiring and forward-thinking gatherings. Check our Club calendar for upcoming dates.
Second, for Real Estate Connections, On September 25th we are honored to welcome Spencer Levy, Senior Economic Advisor at CBRE and one of the most dynamic voices in commercial real estate today. Known nationally for his appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg, and as host of The Weekly Take podcast, Spencer will share timely insights that you simply can’t get anywhere else. If you want to understand the forces shaping our market and beyond, this is a must-attend.
Then, on Thursday, October 16, prepare to be astonished during A Night with Master Mentalist Michael Gutenplan. Recognized as America’s top-rated mentalist, Those who attended last year came away raving about the experience and asking for more programming like this—so we’re thrilled to deliver an encore you won’t want to miss.
“The Art Of” embraces the season with our Fall Wreath-making Workshop, a festive, hands-on event filled with creativity and cheer! With guidance from a talented florist, you’ll design your own wreath and learn simple ways to refresh it for the holidays. Bring a friend, sip something cozy, and join us for an evening sure to spark your Autumn spirit.
As we close out the Summer, the Fall promises unforgettable nights, inspiring speakers and engaging activities. Let’s make it one for the books.
Welcome Natalie!
The Club is excited to welcome Natalie Dixon as The Center Club’s Director of Membership & Marketing.
You may recognize her face, we have been lucky to have Natalie as Interim Director and thrilled she has officially accepted the position. She looks forward to working with members to celebrate what makes the Club special — and shape what’s next.
“Natalie has already proven to be a key player in our membership & marketing strategy, and has been instrumental in working with our team to elevate our events.”
—Nicholas Steege, General Manager, The Center Club

Tuesday, September 16
5:30–7:30 PM
$45++ / Includes hors d’oeuvres Drinks by chit
What’s the real purpose of a liberal arts education—career prep, cultural tradition, or something more? This talk explores how our big-picture beliefs about reality—what philosophers call metaphysics— shape how we think about learning. We’ll contrast rigid, dualistic worldviews with more dynamic, process-based philosophies, and see how these metaphysical lenses inform conservative, pragmatic, and radical visions of the liberal arts. Along the way, we’ll ask: What should the liberal arts do for society—and are we still asking the right questions?
