The Center Club has been bustling with much activity throughout the past few months and is geared to continue that trend through the spring and summer. It is exciting to witness how much you are engaged in the Club’s various and diverse offerings.
The Club hosted back-to-back sold-out events at the end of March, beginning with the Orioles Opening Day Tailgate on March 28 followed by Easter Brunch on March 31. Our Orioles fans filled the Club with high hopes that this year’s team will surpass the incredible and memorable 2023 season. Cheering for the Orioles is not only for Opening Day, but all season long at the Orioles Pub for select games. Once again, our annual Easter Brunch was very successful with families enjoying a delicious menu and delighted children participating in an egg hunt. Also in March, who could forget the ever-popular Seafood Buffet. This sold-out event featured an amazing array of fish, mollusk and crustacean creations by Executive Chef Bannan.
Spring is the perfect time to get involved with two new Interest Groups that recently launched. The Golf Club is chaired by Devin Walsh and The Boating Club is co-chaired by Freddi Lipstein and Michael Saxon. In addition, Healthcare Connections is under new leadership with co-chairs Rochelle Kane and Derek Dangerfield. Thank you to these incredible members, as well as to all our IntraClub and Interest Group chairs, for providing your expertise in leading these groups.
May is a month to honor our mothers—those who are still with us and those we always will hold dear in our hearts. This Mother’s Day, celebrate the extraordinary women in your lives with brunch at the Club. Make your reservations to join us for a special menu and activities the entire family can enjoy.
As always, I thank you for your support of our Club. Together, we are advancing our mission and vision by building powerful relationships in an inclusive environment. I look forward to seeing you again soon at The Center Club.

2024 Employees of the First Quarter
Diligent, dedicated, ambitious, adaptable and graceful are just a few adjectives that describe our Employee of the Quarter. For the first time, The Center Club has announced two employees for this outstanding recognition with the mother and daughter duo of Patrica and Paola. These two epitomize the meaning of opportunity. Nearly two years ago Patricia and Paola began their employment at The Club through a local staffing company. Over that time, these two became an important staple to our banquet team. Since joining our team a full-time capacity six months ago, they have had the opportunity to really learn and grow and can be relied on to bartend, serve and even execute private events on their own. We are so proud to witness their growth through triumph and tribulation. They are our “X-Factor” to the overall success of our private events team!

    IN MEMORIAM
We send our deepest condolences as we mourn the loss of the following Center Club members.

    Help The Center Club Grow
          Introduce friends, family and colleagues
The growth of the Club depends on its members. Introduce, by email or in person, a friend, family member or colleague to anyone on the membership team and let the team do the rest.
If this person becomes a member, you receive $50 dining credit, it is that easy.
          Events
Do you have a great idea for an event?
Know someone who would make for a compelling speaker on an intriguing topic, including yourself?
If you answered yes to either question, put us in touch with the right person, and we’ll see if we can get something scheduled.
          New IntraClub or Interest Group
Have an idea for a new IntraClub or Interest Group? Find at least 10 members who are also interested in your idea and bring it to us for consideration. We recommend beginning with at least 10 active, interested members and having co-chairs to lead the group.
Email membership@centerclub.org with potential prospective member names or your ideas for a new event or new IntraClub or Interest Group.
