We help Hull City Council Implement a Series of Energy Efficiencies Through Lighting Upgrades
Since 2016, CEMA Lighting has been working in partnership with Hull City Council and NPS Humber to install bespoke lighting solutions across the city. Initially, CEMA Lighting provided an outdoor lighting system for the Ennerdale Cycle Circuit. Resultantly, Hull City Council and NPS Humber trusted CEMA Lighting with implementing energy-efficient lighting systems for the sports hall and swimming pool at the Ennerdale Leisure Centre, along with Walton Street car park, Stockholm Depot, and Hull Ice Arena.
Cycle Track Lighting Solution
CEMA Lighting installed 1 km of street lighting for the cycle track in Kingston-Upon-Hull at the Ennerdale Leisure Centre. Our 70W High Output LED Street Light was the ideal product for illuminating the entire circuit. The consultation stage shaped the tailored installation.
For instance, specially curved pole-mounts were sourced, so that the luminaire sat centred above the cycle track, ensuring the whole width was lit evenly.
Swimming Pool & Sports Hall
The success of the cycle track opened the door to lighting the leisure centre, where CEMA Lighting installed a bespoke LED lighting system into the swimming pool and sports hall. The sports hall’s high ceiling was well suited to our highly efficient LED HighBays and the swimming pool area is now impressively lit by LED High Panels and LED bulkheads. The facility (that was built in the 1980s) has been rejuvenated by its LED lighting system and hopefully the financial savings mean more investment can be made in the leisure centre for the local community.
