Dronfield Leisure Centre Significantly Cut Lighting Costs With a CEMA Lighting Installation
North East Derbyshire District Council approached CEMA Lighting Limited to improve their Dronfield Leisure Centre’s failing inefficient traditional lighting in order to help the council save energy and help reduce their carbon emissions.
Our knowledgeable consultant undertook a full audit of the site’s lighting before proposing a new energy efficient scheme of works that would greatly improve the lighting output across the centre whilst having a positive impact on their carbon footprint.
Our installation team worked around Dronfield Leisure Centre to complete the project with minimum disruption to operations. The team installed our exclusive 200 lumens per watt Super High-Output HighBay in the main sports hall offering the highest efficiency on the European market maximising light output and energy savings. Our IP65 LED Linear Batten Lights were installed in the changing rooms offering bright, clear energy efficient lighting these dust and water resistant fittings are perfect for changing room environments and the corridors and office areas now benefit from increased lighting levels using our energy-efficient decorative Halo Panels.
Since upgrading their lighting, Dronfield Leisure Centre have a future-proof lighting system covered by the CEMA Lighting market-leading 5 year ‘Fit & Forget’ warranty plus 3 years luminaire replacement warranty. Dronfield Leisure Centre are now saving 13.5 tonnes of CO2 annually which is equivalent to planting 81 trees every year and with a 66% annual saving on their lighting energy costs the council can now reinvest the money saved back into more vital community projects.
