On behalf of the family, I would like to welcome you to our 58th Annual Production Sale. After all these years we still feel energized and excited to be in the cattle business. With that said there’s no doubt that some years have been quite challenging but there’s certain things that a guy can’t help but enjoy. That first blade of grass in the spring, the first ride on a new colt, or gathering fat calves in the fall. It’s the small things when the world’s trying to spin off its axis that keep us grounded. A good day for us is working cattle and I think many of you reading this feel the same. I think we all sense good times ahead in this business and we look forward to seeing you down the road.

With that I would like to invite you Friday, February 10 to the sale here at the ranch. Please feel welcome to come ahead of time to view the cattle and horses. Sale videos of all lots are available on DLMS.

Terms & Conditions

Breeding & Health This is a T.B. and Brucellosis free area. All males are guaranteed to pass tests. All cattle on full vaccination program and have had Ivomec.

Pasture exposure dates are listed. Should any animal fail to be a breeder, we would like to be notified as soon as possible so as to make suitable settlement.

Liability

All animals will be at buyers risk as soon as sold. Sellers, auctioneers or employees are not responsible for accidents to persons or property.

Announcements

Any announcements from auctioneer stand will take priority over all catalogued material. Extended pedigrees available on request and if necessary EPDs and carcass data available.

Insurance

Insurance will be available sale day.

Delivery Delivery at cost. We will combine or cooperate in any shipments where possible. Cattle are at buyer’s risk as soon as sold.

Purchased as the high selling bull from the Carlrams Production Sale. 132D’s sire, FHR 72A, was purchased by Carl Ramsay out of our Champion Group of 5 string in Calgary. We were looking to add more of the 63W line back into our herd and this bull stood out. Sons and daughters feature.

A grandson of Calgary Bull Sale Champion LPG 1Y and out of a cow with quite a track record. Dam 3T was bred by Barb Powlesland and purchased by Gordon Klein. The 334A line has been used now throughout the industry and it will solidify feet, udders, milk, pigment, and hair.

A 77B son kept back to replace his sire. Big time style, hair, and overall thickness. Sire of high sellers in 2022. Females have exceptional udder development and look to be making excellent cows.

Feature sire. A late born bull that caught our attention and was originally used on heifers. After his first crop we quickly jumped him to the cows and are pleased we did. 313E just completed his 3rd year of use and we are quite high on this line.

This eight year old has an excellent wither and has been my go to horse for the last year. He is a pleasure to ride as he is as smooth as they come and really hustles when he walks. This horse will loose rein lope and has lots of handle. If you want to rope cattle and tie off he will do it or use him in the branding pen and drag as many as you like. This nice gelding is athletic so experience is preferred. We will miss this guy as he fits our ranch like a glove

Pal is a sharp looking palomino home raised gelding that is quiet and gentle. He has the heart to put in a full day but will slow to the rider if they choose to take it easy. This guy has been through two calving fields as he was used extensively for moving pairs and sorting. You can leave this gelding for periods of time and he will take it all in stride. If you want a solid ranch horse or a super good looking all around pleasure horse here he is.
