Sale Start Time – 1:00pm Sunday, July 20st, 2025

Online Bidding: DLMS
Buyers: All buyers must register before being eligible to bid at auction. Full settlement must be made with the Treasurer of the Saskatchewan Sheep Breeders’Association on July 20th, 2025, prior to animals leaving the barn. No exceptions. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or e-transfer. No credit card payments will be accepted.
Guarantee: Ewes & Rams entered in Grasslands Sheep Exhibition Sale are guaranteed by the consignor as breeders. The consignor will stand behind their animals & if any problem arise, they are to be handled directly between the seller and the purchaser.
Risk & Removal: All animals are at purchaser’s risk as soon as sold. No animals are to be removed from the barn until full settlement is made & receipt is issued. Present receipt to Barn Boss (Travis and Mel Stevens) for inspection. All animals must be removed from the facility by 6:00pm on Sunday July 20th, 2025
Errors: If any errors are noted, corrections will be made from the auction stand. All announcements at sale time, written or verbal, will supersede any written information in this catalogue.
Liability: The Saskatchewan Sheep Breeders Association & The Saskatchewan Sheep Development Board & their respective directors &/or employees accept no liability that may occur. Accidents at sheep shows & Sales are very rare, but all attending do so at their own risk.

Lamb Banquet
Tickets for the Provincially sourced lamb banquet are available for $35.00 per adult and $15.00 for Children 10 years and younger. There will also be a fun auction held at the banquet. Tickets are available through the SSDB office prior to the event or at the Ewe Shoppe during Grasslands.
Silent Auction
A Silent Auction will occur throughout the event in the Trade Show area. All proceeds are shared between the SSDB and SSBA. We greatly appreciate all donations! To donate items, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the SSDB office or bring your items to the event.

Saskatchewan Sheep Development Board Research Initiatives
BB Farms strongly believes in the importance of research initiatives and typically donates a quilt each year to support this cause. However, this year, we have decided to donate two fall-born ewe lambs. Who couldn’t use more sheep? If you purchase these ewe lambs and need transportation, we will assist you in making arrangements.
The research initiatives of the Saskatchewan Sheep Development Board (SSDB) are extremely beneficial to the Canadian sheep industry as a whole. The SSDB is actively involved in various research projects with different levels of investment.
We hope you will support this worthy cause and contribute to the benefit of the industry overall. Both of these ewe lambs were in our keeper pen; however, we have chosen to donate them for this important purpose. While we feel a sense of remorse as they are incredible animals, we believe this is a great opportunity to give back.
1) **BB Farms Margarita 944M** - Margarita is a triplet with a genotype of QR. Her Genovis numbers are: MAT - 65, CARC - 64, and GAIN - 61. She has a rich pedigree featuring impressive genetics, including several older ancestors. Margarita's sister, Mai Tai, will be selling at the Classic. Margarita comes from a flock that has tested negative for Johnes and OPP, and her vaccinations are up to date.
2) **BB Farms Maggie 9292M RR** - Maggie is a single lamb. Her mother has consistently lambed out of season each year and produced outstanding lambs. Maggie’s granddam, 55H, was a favorite at the farm. Her Genovis numbers are: MAT - 82, CARC - 89, and GAIN - 88, with a genotype of RR. Maggie also comes from a flock that has tested negative for Johnes and OPP, and her vaccinations are current.
