Chocolate Chip was hauled to Jr rodeos by our 7 yr old grandson competing in (team roping, goat tying, breakaway, barrels & poles). This gelding can do it all, & you’ll love him every single minute! Here is a nice red roan, 7 year old gelding that stands 15.2 HH, with good feet and bone. Malibu is coming along nicely as a head horse, he has been hauled around all winter and has hit a few jackpots, he will continue to be hauled this summer, he takes everything in stride. Malibu has been used in the hills and drug calves to the fire at brandings. He has a smooth stride and is easy to ride all day, whether its in the pasture or just to run a few steers in the arena. This gelding is a good traveller and is willing to please, he has lots of run and pull. Malibu is willing to do anything that you ask of him, and is nice to have around. JD is a 15.2 flashy chestnut gelding. He has clean legs and good feet. JD has been used on the ranch to move, sort cattle and is solid in the branding pen. As a head horse, he is great in the box, runs flat with lots of natural rate. Speed is not an issue for JD when needed, but will walk back on a loose rein. He is talented enough for a higher numbered roper, but gentle enough that our kids have used him. He has been used at the World Series ropings and will continue to be jackpotted on until sale day. JD is also showing talent as a barrel horse. He has been taken to jackpots and consistently improving. Our favorite thing about this horse is his willingness to please. Doc is a 5 year old heel/ranch horse that we've owned and brought up from a weanling. He's one that has always wanted to please and make your job enjoyable. He stands 14.2 hh with good foot and bone under him. Used on the ranch for all aspects of work and has doctored tons of cattle. Doc is a smooth mover, and is real soft and responsive. Started in the roping pen early his four year old year. He has been used mainly on the heel side, has plenty of run and a solid finish. Doc has always been a super gentle, sane minded gelding. Never once offered to buck, and with any amount of time off he will saddle up and ride with no issues. He has been to the mountains and will go where he's pointed without hesitation. He's sure footed and calm in all scenarios. Suitable for any level of rider, from going on a trail ride to being competitive in the roping arena. Truly one that the whole family can enjoy. Ole Blue is an easy horse to have around with zero buck. We have used ole blue in every aspect of the ranch from calving cows to branding and sorting he is our go to horse. Cash is a 4 yr old blue roan gelding we have had since he was a yearling. He started his riding career very quiet and easy as a 2 yr old. Since then his riding has progressed to a very gentle and high functioning jackpot ready heel horse. Cash behaves great in the box and leaves strong. He has a very easy entry to the run and finishes with a deep strong stop. Don’t let his age fool you, he is gentle and safe for almost any rider. He is well on track for the rope horse futurities this fall. Cash has been hauled to several arenas and has been used to flag ropings on. He handles new situations very well. We have also used him at several brandings this spring and in no time felt like a seasoned pro. Cash rides nice and quiet on his own in or out of the arena. He is very patient and well mannered.
