CATHEDRAL’S PRODUCTION Into The Woods

Our Fall 2019 musical was “Into The Woods”, Cathedral first full scale musical production in our new landmark Phantom Theater. This production brought together the talents of the cast, crew, the music ensemble and our Director Mr. Joe Walsh.

This production intertwined the classic fairy tales of Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Cinderella with a modern twist – each wanting a wish. The show follows a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child. When they learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a magical journey into the woods to find the cow as white as milk, the cape as red as blood, the hair as yellow as corn, and the slipper as pure as gold. Our cast and crew and all involved did a fantastic job performing our very first musical “Into the Woods” in front of four sold out audiences in our new on campus 360 seat theater. Each show ended with a well-deserved standing ovation.

All at Cathedral continue to marvel at the quality of our Theater productions which have been under the direction of Joe Walsh and his staff for over twenty years. Our new theater is the perfect venue for Cathedral musical and drama productions.
