Mondesign is the most relevant author design event in our country.

My grandfather Alfredo, inherently restless, constantly sought new challenges and explored different paths. His artistic soul was undeniable, not only manifested in his lace designs but also in his ability to turn machines into true artistic tools. Every lace he created was a unique masterpiece, reflecting his profound love for craftsmanship. His ability to merge technical precision with artistic expression was truly inspiring. The legacy of his creativity continues to illuminate my path, urging me to embrace curiosity and channel it into creation.
I express my restlessness through a curiosity to discover how things work or a desire to overcome obstacles. From an early age, I was diagnosed with dyslexia, a condition that hinders my ability to read and write. However, instead of allowing this to limit me, I found inspiration and strength in dyslexia. It taught me to seek alternative solutions, think creatively, and face challenges with determination. I discovered that there were tools and strategies that allowed me to overcome difficulties and develop unique skills.
Being able to unify these restlessnesses that reflect the diversity and human capacity to make a difference, manifesting as a passion and determination of individuals, demonstrates that restlessness can be channeled in positive and creative ways.

“Disturbio” represents the very restlessness that forces all movement in our existence. It is the desire for an action, the urge to transcend what is already known and to break the courageously confronts imposed limitations, such as dyslexia, which tries to impose its boundaries, and stands as the motor force that breaks down obsolete systems, allowing established norms and to face the challenge of transcending what is already written in

The starting point was the sentimental connection with the laces created by my grandfather. These pieces were not only a proof of his handicraft skills, but also a family legacy that deserved to be preserved. The intention was not just to design a

With the shapes of the lace digitalized, I immersed myself in Marvelous Design, a powerful program that allows three-dimensional display of the shapes. I began experimenting with different layouts, combinations and structures, exploring diverse silhouettes and patterns to find the perfect essence.

The first sketches were very key, from them I was able to figure out more or less which shapes I wanted to keep in the collection and which ones I would remove during the process. Circular shapes became the main element of the collection from the very beginning. It was quite a challenge to create circular shapes with zero waste techniques and with delicate materials such as organza.

The choice of the color palette I use in this project is deeply personal because, for me, colors are much more than just visual shades. Colors are a powerful tool that has always played a fundamental role in my process of comprehension and expression.

I chose organza because it is a material that allows us to see through it, and that is exactly what I wanted to achieve with this collection. Wool is the most important material in the whole collection, it replaces the cotton that was used to make the lace. The beads remind me of my childhood, it brings me back to my first encounters with creativity and creation.

In this project, it was crucial for me to highlight the importance that I give to textiles, underlining the extensive research and dedication that I invested to achieve outstanding results. Every thread and texture becomes a canvas on which I reflect my dedication to excellence. The meticulousness of my work is reflected in the final product as well as the creative process, which is backed by a strict commitment towards innovation and quality. This project represents more than just simple elements; is the tangible expression of my passion for textiles and my constant effort to achieve the perfection in every detail.
As I did as a child, I dived into the task of experimenting and creating, seeking to determine the viability of generating a unique texture and, perhaps, even making a garment using extensive meters of beads. This process not only involves artistic exploration and connection to fond memories, but also represents the creative adaptability to transform the initial inspiration into a tangible expression of textile art.
Immersed in the rich heritage of the lace that once adorned my grandfather's creations, I decided to undertake a deep investigation into the art and history behind these delicate pieces of knitted lace. From the traditional knitting techniques handed down from generation to generation until the evolution of the patterns through the years, my investigation became an exciting odyssey into the heart of a handicraft tradition that has endured over time. Each yarn, each detail, became a testimony of the patience and skill that characterized those who, like my grandfather, dedicated their lives to creating masterpieces.

This collection is distinguished by its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, as it has been meticulously designed and produced using the innovative zero waste technique. Each piece reflects my conscious approach to fashion, where creativity merges with ethics.
From the first design brief to the final garment, I have prioritized waste minimization, zero waste, adopting smart patterns that optimise the use
This collection is not only an expression of style and elegance, but also a
Not often is it mentioned that knitting is also a great tool for zero waste, as it uses the wool needed for the corresponding fabric, no more, no less,

This look is composed of a skirt and a sweater, once these are on a body, the pieces are overlapped to make it look like a dress

Thanks to the plastisol (which is diluted with thinner) the sweater gets more structure and thanks to the foil it has more shine. The skirt of beads is attached to straps that are used to support the skirt as it is heavy and distribute the weight of the piece.

The blazer and shorts are made with the zero waste technique. I didn't limit myself to any pattern or any size. Being able to play with the fabric until I get to the perfect shape is a great satisfaction, it's a really good way to put our ideas into practice.

A look that adapts to every body shape. I thought it was very important for my collection to be diverse. I'm a strong supporter of diversity and inclusion of bodies. The accessories contain a shiny aspect that changes the final morphology of the silhouette.
The shoes for this look were a transparent silicone heel.

A knitwear-inspired coat, I didn't want to limit myself to having a super light material like organza and not be able to create something with volume and texture. I didn't restrict myself to one
The shiny organza lifts the silhouette and contrasts with the knitted bodysuit. The silicone accessories also give it the sheen
