FRANKE’S COMPREHENSIVE NEW SINK ADDITIONS OFFER DESIGN SCOPE AND INSTALLATION FLEXIBILITY Franke has launched a host of new products for 2020 that showcase its ability to deliver on-point design and its renowned quality to a range of customers in the mid-to-luxury segment. Among the highlights in the company’s comprehensive offering of sinks, taps, waste management solutions, customised stainless steel worksurfaces and decorative hoods are two brand new sink ranges, as well as an extension of one of the brand’s most popular models. All three sink designs benefit from flexibility of installation and are easy to fit.

Granite in muted monochromes The company has extended its popular Fragranite sink offer to include the new Urban range, which is available in three brand new monochrome colours of Orion Grey, Sage Grey and Denim Grey, responding to the trend for muted shades and tactile finishes in the kitchen. Urban can be flushmounted or inset as the outer edge is vertical and it is the first Fragranite sink to feature Franke’s patented Slimfix® fixing system, which anchors the sink firmly to the work surface without the need for any under-sink fitting. The patented system reduces the time spent squeezing into cramped spaces and resulting in a sink which is virtually flush with the worksurface. Also available in five existing colours of Polar White, Coffee, Onyx, Stone Grey and Graphite, the high-performance Urban sink features sanitized anti-bacterial protection and is available in two single bowl options and a 1.5 bowl.

The modern undermount reimagined The new minimalist Mythos sink range re-imagines the modern undermount with refined design details and heightened aesthetics. The range includes eight undermount options plus four inset models which can be installed as an inset Slimtop or a true Flushmount, with a polished slimline 6mm rim visible on the worksurface, adding a precision design detail. A successor to the popular Kubus undermount sink, Mythos differentiates itself with an increased bowl depth of 200mm, tighter bowl radii of 25mm at the corner and 10mm at the base, ensuring the bowl is easy to clean, together with a circular flush-fitting waste cover with radial brushed finish, giving a smoother base which helps protect crockery and glasses.
Award winning range extended The award-winning, multitasking Box Center sink range has been extended with three new models, offering more size options and the flexibility to be installed in a variety of worksurface materials. Featuring the original two bowl design and integrated accessories, there is now a reversible option that can be installed as a Slimtop inset or true flushmount, alongside a further reversible undermount option. Completing the line-up is a single compartment bowl which can be installed inset, flushmount or undermount. It houses an accessory pack, making it ideal as a small prep sink on an island unit or as a companion task bowl to any Franke sink. Box Center features a high-quality accessory set includes chef quality knives, knife holder, stainless steel strainer bowl, food preparation platter, chopping board and wire rack, which can be stowed away neatly after use.
