GIRA REVEALS NEW 2020 INNOVATIONS FOR HOME AUTOMATION Gira, has announced it is introducing an extensive range of new products spanning innovations in design, door entry & communication, the eNet SMART HOME and KNX system technologies. Innovations in BUILDING INTELLIGENCE Ease of use is a huge growth area in 2020, as consumers invests in more interconnected devices (IoT) and has come to want the benefits associated with sensor technology, one-system platforms with multi-device capabilities and digital assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa to control their home-environment. Gira is launching new products for the eNet SMART HOME that can be retrofitted to introduce new ways to operate lighting, blinds and heating or enable design-led connectivity to one or more devices, The KNX System is also set to reveal a selection of new solutions by Gira including control sensors, motion and presence detectors, comprehensive software updates, security mechanisms and a dynamic collection of switch and blind actuators – and these innovations have all been designed to create a new benchmark of data integrity, encryption and development for the KNX system and in turn, the connected home. “The progression of KNX system technology throughout the home has made linking devices much less complicated, so that a variety of devices can now share one single, simple network and work together as required.
