Extinction Rebellion protests in major cities in the UK. All challenged Editors to give up valuable front page space to cover the subject for their readers. How refreshing then to hear of manufacturers in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom market take the subject and grasp the initiative. We have heard from many companies in our market over the last few years leading the way with the launch of many various ‘green’ product developments, especially domestic appliance manufacturers. The latest company to trail-blaze is German kitchen furniture manufacturer, Rotpunkt, who by implementing new measures at its production sites in Bünde and Getmold in Germany, has ensured that from 1st January 2020, kitchens are 100% carbon neutral!
