Wife and mother
Finally, in 2011, Galilea decided to get married. And she married businessman Fernando Reina. From their union was born Manteo, who just turned 4. There have been speculations about more pregnancies, but evidence has shown they were not true. What is true is that Galilea has said in social media that she would love to have more children. If she has a girl, she wants to name her “Kika”. What is the most important lesson you want Mateo to learn? GM: I want him to clearly know that he must pursue his dreams. When will you fulfill his wish of having a little sister? GM: Hahaha, I hope very soon…
Elegant and fit
At her 43 years of age, Galilea is at the peak of her professional and personal life. As time goes by, she is considered one of the most beautiful women on the small screen. She is the image of countless beauty brands. But she is also an example of discipline to stay fit. And it is not all about the beauty creams she recommends. Her best beauty advice is to have a good self-esteem. ¿What is the best beauty advice you can give us? GM: In my daily routine there is always face creams. I use them in the morning and the afternoon. And it is a must to remove all makeup. How do you maintain your beautiful hair? GM: Washing it every other day.

Galilea has been involved in dramatic productions in Televisa. She starred in “La Verdad Oculta” (The Hidden Truth), and also participated in “Hasta que el Dinero nos Separe” (Until money do us apart). Recently, producer Carmen Armendariz created a series just for her, called “Cásate Conmigo, mi Amor” (Marry me, my love). These series were inspired in Galilea’s own love life and her resistance to getting married. It is also normal to see her conducting contest shows and the daily morning magazine “Hoy” (Today). Out of all the shows you have participated in, which one do you remember with the most affection and why? GM: All the shows have a place in my life, it’s been many years doing this work. But, I believe “Hoy” has really marked my career. It is very rewarding to feel the public’s response and feel their love every day. Those things are priceless. What did it mean to you to be part of the series “Cásate conmigo, mi amor”? GM: It was a fabulous experience. I had been away from acting for many years, but when Mexican producer Carmen Armendariz told me about the project, I thought it was incredible. I jumped on it and I don’t regret it a bit. It was a great experience to get back into acting. And I also enjoyed it a lot, also because the cast was a great group of friends. In “Pequeños Gigantes” (Little Giants) you made us cry. Your maternal instinct was visible. How much being in that show helped you to be a mom? GM: “Pequeños Gigantes” was a show that changed my life. Being around the children was unforgettable to me. Is there any secret to stay fit? GM: The number one thing without any doubts is to eat healthy food. I eat more than three times a day, at set times, in an organized manner. Following a food routine helps my body. Believe it or not, I indulge every now and then, too. Can you share some of those indulgences? GM: I have to confess that I am crazy about pozole. I eat it, and I am not sure if it is good for me or not. But, what is the biggest secret for your beauty? GM: To me, beauty has to do with being happy with yourself. You must accept yourself, including your flaws. Beauty is a matter of self-esteem.
“Va por ti”
Galilea once again is the conductor of “Va por ti.” She feels like fish in the water when conducting this show. She has conducted several reality shows and she has been a contestant in a few others. She won “Big Brother” in Mexico. And she was a finalist in “Bailando por un Sueño” (Dancing for a Dream), and “Hazme reir y serás millonario” (Make me laugh and you will be a millionaire).
