We are so excited to announce our re-opening season. After over a year of closure, we can’t wait to welcome you back to your Carnegie and share the excitement and joy of live performance.

The re-opening season starts with that Christmas classic, Scrooge. Presented by MAODS. What better way to step into Christmas with this ageless classic? Speaking of Christmas, we really are delighted to see the return of West Cumbria’s favourite pantomime presented by WADAMS, Cinderella. We’re all going to the Ball this year!

Get your glass slippers on.

Comedy is top of the bill this season with the return of Simon Brodkin with his Troublemaker Tour. Followed hot on his heals in 2022 by our friend Dave Spikey, A Funny Thing Happened… tour and Joel Dommett, Unapologetic (If that’s OK?). We might be a small theatre but we smash it with the big names.

Some of our firm favourite musicians also make a return to our stage with Limehouse Lizzy, A Foreigners Journey, Dirty DC and The Floyd Effect. If you’re beggin’ to reminisce over the sounds of Frankie Valli, the firm favourites Jersey Beats – Oh What A Nite may make your night!

Finally, we’re continuing our quest to introduce new elements to our programme. So, check out Soul Sisters – The Musical, Steve Parrish Mad Tour – The Parrish Times and finally Simon Evans: The Work of the Devil.

Dirty DC was formed in 1998 and have played throughout the UK, Ireland, and as far as the Middle East. They quickly made a strong reputation amongst the serious die-hard AC/DC fans. The band consists of 5 hardcore AC/DC enthusiasts.

Steve raced at the highest level of motorcycling racing becoming British Champion in 1976 and then 5th in the 1977 500cc World Championship, as team mate to that years champion Barry Sheene.

Barry who met Steve in 1975 is quoted as saying “If he was to set up his bike as well as his victims and had put as much effort into the bike as he did the intricate pranks he pulled on people he would certainly of been a World Champion”.

Tickets can be purchased will all major debit and credit cards, except American Express & Diners Cards.

RESTORATION LEVY

A £1.00 Restoration Levy is applied to all tickets purchased. The income raised from this will be ringfenced and used to maintain and refurbish our beautiful Grade 2 listed building.

CONCESSIONS

These vary per performance as our agreements with promoters and hirers differ. There may be concessions if you are under 18, in full time education, in receipt of a State Pension or Registered Disabled. Please note only one concession is applicable per ticket.

REFUNDS

We regret that we are unable to give refunds unless the performance is cancelled or rescheduled.

EXCHANGES

We can exchange valid tickets for upcoming shows for alternative seats or performances. We will make a £1 charge for processing this. This option is not available once a show date has passed.

GROUP BOOKINGS

POSTAGE

You can choose to have your tickets posted to you by second class post for a charge of £1.50, except those tickets booked seven days or fewer before the performance, which will be held at box office for collection.

PRIVACY

We value our customers privacy. If you do not wish us to contact you with details of events that we think you would be interested in please contact us at boxoffice@ carnegietheatre.co.uk to let us know. TRANSACTION FEES

The price of tickets detailed do not include our online transaction fee. To enable us to cover the costs of a 24/7 online system, we do make a charge of £2.50 per transaction on online sales.
