INCOMING RESIDENTS
CMS WELCOMES INCOMING RESIDENTS CMS President Dr. Ken Whithaus and Executive Director Pam Irwin hosted an orientation luncheon for new Family Medicine, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine Residents on June 17. Many of the Residents shared harrowing stories about securing flights from their home countries to move to Tallahassee. The pandemic had an impact on their final year of medical school and launched some new hobbies like raised gardening and baking bread. One Resident was engaged in COVID-testing at her hometown ER. Dr. Whithaus and Pam shared the importance and benefits of local medical society membership. Please make them feel welcomed!
