The launch of the Headstart Programme was hailed as a significant achievement and an excellent example of a private-public partnership that moves forward the government’s agenda towards transforming Malaysia. CP: Do tell us about yourself and the one word to describe yourself? I would describe myself as adventurous. I am a very outgoing and independent person who loves outdoor activities and travelling. I am also an adrenaline junkie who dares to take up all sorts of challenges. CP: How does it feel now to be part of “Khabar Cinta” talents and working with them? I am very glad to be a part of “Khabar Cinta” because we, the cast members got along very well and we were like a family. It was so much fun to working with lots of talents.  CP: How did you feel when you were offered this role? I was very excited when I was selected and could not wait to start shooting at the moment I was told about the story board! CP: When was your first experience on a runway and how did you feel doing it? My first experience on a runway show was when I was 15 years old. I was very proud to have achieved one of my goals at a very young age and I feel proud when I am up there. CP: What work of yours that you are most proud of right now? Why? I am proud to be able to travel to many places for TVC shoots and modelling stints at the age of 22 as it’s my hobby. CP: How did you get into modelling /acting? Well, I sent my profile to many agencies and went for casting and kept on doing it and trying for it. CP: In terms of acting, what kind of actor do you think you are or who do you want to be? For now, I would like to try all sorts of acting, I am not so particular. Although, I don’t mind trying out characters that are more ladylike to show off my feminine side! CP: Do you have any unusual talents? Explain I don’t think I have any unusual talents. However, I do enjoy extreme sports such as waterfall abseiling, rock climbing, surfing, wake boarding, and horseback riding. I just did the world’s tallest bungee jump in Macau last month! CP: What are the 5 things you can’t live without? Why? Tissue (I have sinus), chilli (everything I eat has to be spicy), water (to hydrate myself at all times), lotion (my skin is very dry) and socks (I’m afraid of the cold). EARTH DAY Why is Earth Day celebrated?

It is celebrated in order to raise awareness about the earth’s condition, where it encourages us to reduce our pollution and recycle more. The idea is to make our planet earth better for this generation and more to come. It is so that everyone can participate in an attempt to make our global environment better. Earth Day is the perfect time to think outside the box.

What should we do? What are the consequences of our choices? What products are better for the earth? What should we avoid?

The answer to these questions is knowledge to educate ourselves. Knowledge is the power when it comes to saving our earth, so here are some of the things all of us can do to save our earth.

A Dim Bulb

Our local hardware store probably sells a regular incandescent bulb compare to a compact fluorescent bulb. Experts say you may buy 10 or more of the cheaper bulbs over ten years, compared to only one of the more expensive type.

Keeping It Clean

Washers can use more than 50 gallons of water per load, so avoid washing a lot of small loads whenever possible. Also, be sure to choose the lowest level of water needed for each load, use warm water instead of hot, and set the rinse cycle to use cold water.

Get a Charge out of it

Never throw spent batteries in the trash. They contain mercury, a hazardous substance that will leak into groundwater or be burned and released into the air. Don’t go there and try to switch to rechargeable batteries.

Sticker Shock

As fuel prices increase it will be even smarter to own fuelefficient vehicles. Check the mileage ratings when you buy a car and compare the efficiency of your favourite models before you purchase. If gas goes up to RM12 a gallon, which one will you want to have in your garage?

The Running Faucet

Do you leave the water running while you brush your teeth for 2 minutes? Nearly ten gallons of water just slid down the drain. Remember, you pay for that! Now, think about saving water when you shave, wash dishes, do laundry, water the lawn, wash the car, hose off the sidewalks.

Idle Time

Ever wonder if you should leave the car running while you wait for somebody? Leave it on if you’ll be there less than a minute, otherwise it’s more efficient to turn it off and restart it when you’re ready to go.

Cold Food

Snip Six-Pack Rings

Styrofoam Last a Really, Really long time

Recycle Paper

Refrigerator temperatures should be set at about 40 degrees, give or take a degree or two. Freezer temps between 0 and 5 degrees are just right. Colder settings waste energy and won’t help food.

Try 500 years or more. Think about millions of burger boxes, packing peanuts, and take-out containers, sitting in landfills, not biodegrading. Then buy eggs in cardboard, rather than Styrofoam, containers.

Reusable and Unbleached

Store food in bowls or Tupperware that can be reused endlessly. Use unbleached coffee filters (not bleached). Use more waxed paper that is biodegradable (instead of foil and plastic wrap).

Shopping Bag

Recycle both paper and plastic shopping bags. Decline bags for smaller purchases such as stationeries, greeting cards, etc.

Those innocent looking soft plastic holders for soft drink cans and other products can entangle birds, fish, and small animals. Snip apart each ring before throwing it in the trash, or inquire whether they can be recycled locally.

Newspapers, junk mail, office papers, corrugated boxes, and paper bags are just a few of the items that can be recycled. Use local recycling facilities or call local authorities to learn about recycling options.

Recycle Glass, Plastic, and Cans .

Get your local recycling requirements for these items and recycle them every day. Collect cans and bottles when you travel, when you picnic.

Plant a tree Day

Here’s the best idea of all: Plant a tree, or two, or even three. They’re beautiful, they provide shade, consume CO2, and they produce oxygen.

E-BOX MOVIE Titanic 3D

Wrath of the Titans

84 years later, a 100-year-old woman named Rose DeWitt Bukater tells the story to her granddaughter Lizzy Calvert, Brock Lovett, Lewis Bodine, Bobby Buell, and Anatoly Mikailavich on the Keldysh about her life set in April 10th 1912, on a ship called Titanic when young Rose boards the departing ship with the upper-class passengers and her mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukater, and her fiancé, Caledon ‘Cal’ Hockley. Meanwhile, a drifter and artist named Jack Dawson and his best friend Fabrizio De Rossi win third class tickets to the ship in a game. And she explains the whole story from departure until the death of Titanic on its first and last voyage April 15th, 1912 at 2:20 in the morning. This film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Billy Zane and directed by James Cameron. On April 5, experience Titanic like never before in DIGITAL 3D.

Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson star once again as gods at war in “Wrath of the Titans,” under the direction of Jonathan Liebesman. A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Worthington) —the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson)—is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramírez), switch loyalties and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus.
