Terms:
Bulls sell by private treaty. First come first served. Once agreement on price has been reached a 50% deposit by cash or cheque will hold your bull until delivery in April/May. Bulls become the risk of the buyer once they have successfully passed a Breeding Soundness Exam (BSE) .
Bull Wintering and Delivery:
Bulls will be kept at NYK until early April. Upon the completion of a successful BSE delivery will be arranged. Delivery will be provided free of charge within 500 km. Bulls can be delivered to central points or trucking can be coordinated for longer distances. Delivery will be done to suit the buyer’s breeding season. All bulls must be delivered by June 1 unless other arrangements for yardage have been made.
Guarantee:
NYK Cattle Co guarantees to sell you a bull that is structurally sound and will have passed semen test by a licensed veterinarian prior to delivery. Should any bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder, unable to physically service a cow or heifer, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value if one is available, or credit will be made available for another bull. A replacement bull will not be provided in the event of injury or mismanagement.
