Ages 5 - 12 Monday, April 13, 2:30 p.m. This class will introduce students to the realm of insects when they learn about their fabulous flying abilities, their unique eyesight, and the way they defend themselves against predators. Students will get an opportunity to see how camouflage works and see how chemicals combine to create the same reaction that makes fireflies glow in the dark! Our Planet Earth: Earth Day Ages 5 - 12 Tuesday, April 14, 4 p.m. Participants will enjoy activities related to our planet Earth. Additional details to be announced. Presented by Marissa Wolfe, Camden County Environmental Educator. Our Planet Earth: Digging up Dinosaurs! Ages 3 - 5 Wednesday, April 15, 10:30 a.m. Mad Science Introduces kids to the differences between meat-eating and plant-eating animals. They have the opportunity to look at some dinosaur teeth up close and work as paleontologists, by participating in a mini dinosaur dig that engages their attention and helps them improve their scientific knowledge. S.T.E.A.M. Storytime Ages 3.5 - 6 Thursdays, April 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, 10:30 a.m. Half storytime and half “explore” time as preschoolers learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through books and activities. Each week will be a different theme including: Dinosaurs, Animals, Germs, Our bodies, Outer Space, and Numbers. Registration is for all 6 sessions.

Spring Bird Ornament Painting Ages 5 – 11. Thursday, April 16, 2:30 p.m. Come dressed to mess as we paint a wooden bird ornament for Spring. Children ages 7 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver. Our Planet Earth: Family Bird Feeder Creations All ages Saturday, April 18, 11 a.m. Families will use recycled or found items to create a simple bird feeder to take home and observe bird species in their backyards.
