Sincerely,
Dan Powell Sales ManagerWith the launch of our new menu here at Cambridge Country Club, we are proud to offer our beautiful nail treatments with a 15% discount for our members. We love having our members in to pamper and catch up with! We want our guests to feel summer-ready without having to break the bank. Just a little thank you, from us… to you.
We pride ourselves in our nail treatments here at the spa. We care about your nails and skin, so we only use the best products, which are good for you, and, of course, the environment. We use products of the highest quality, that are delicate on you. We have all seen articles of people expressing their concerns about questionable ingredients in certain products, unfair and inhumane testing, and increased reports of allergies and reactions. We don't stand for any of that. As a luxury spa, we ' ve chosen to exclusively use products that support the Federation of Nail Professionals and are partnered with Salon Rated. These regulated bodies aspire for high-quality products and treatments The ongoing commitment and passion of these individuals are inspiring, and with an increase in safety procedures and ingredient awareness, along with the continuous education of professionals within the industry, we are certainly on board and behind them every step of the way!
We can assure our clients, that it is our highest priority to continue practicing our outstanding treatments, with the health of your skin at the forefront
Sincerely,
Saskia Mitchell Spa ManagerThis month we announce the winner of our Summer Body Challenge! A big well done goes to Asal for completing 30 workouts in 6 weeks Asal also had her body composition scan done and has increased her muscle mass by 21kg

On that note, we are bringing back our Summer Bootcamp and introducing a brand new kettlebell class to our timetable (keep your eyes peeled for further details)
We’d like to welcome Nichola Walker to my amazing team of instructors, Nichola will be teaching our new evening Hatha Yoga class on Thursday’s at 7pm, it’s set to be a success being fully booked already!
are also open as usual over the May Bank
| Bar 8 00am - 16 00pm
This month has seen the course start to flourish. The increased heat combined with the heavy incremental rain has put the green staff under more pressure to keep up with the rapid growth The greens continue to improve daily and the course looks beautiful with the new fairway definition
So far, May has seen a great turnout for official and fun competitions such as the Clemmow Cup flag competition and the Seniors blind pairs event. It was great to see the flag markers moving down the 18th - I couldn’t believe how far the players were able to get them around the course! The blind pairs competition really helps to bring the club together as you are paired with someone you may not normally play alongside. With that in mind we are planning a new members welcome game on the 16th of June. This relaxed game is a maximum of 9 holes and is followed by drinks in the Spikes Bar If you have recently joined and are interested in playing, please contact me on the email below June is set to be an exciting month at the club with the Captain’s Charity Event and Men’s Captains Day to name a few.
Finally, The Pro Shop stock is really taking shape with Glenmuir club crested clothing due to arrive shortly and Taylormade and Titleist clubs to follow Please check in to see all the exciting new clothing and equipment. I look forward to seeing you at the club soon.
Sincerely,
Aaron Howard Accredited PGA Head ProfessionWhen it comes to maximising your game, a custom fit makes all the difference.

We’d like to take the opportunity to remind you about all of the services available to you with your very own on site Clinic here at the Club As the weather improves more of us will spend more time outside exercising or playing golf. The harder ground and increase in intensity of exercise can lead to a number of painful issues getting particularly bad over the summer months, one such issue being ankle / foot or heel pain – specifically Achilles tendinopathy or plantar fasciitis The plantar fascia (the connective tissue under the sole of our foot that attaches into the heel and acts as a “spring” to help our push off when walking) or Achilles tendon ( the thick tendon attaching our calf muscles into our heel) can become increasingly problematic, to the point of preventing people suffering with either condition to walk properly, if in some cases at all. While icing, calf stretches and foot mobility exercises are all important in the management of both of these conditions an excellent treatment option is Shockwave Therapy. This type of treatment provides a high energy pressure wave into the tissues which has an excellent regenerative and pain easing effect and can reduce and eliminate pain with just 3-6 sessions. We are fortunate enough to be able to offer this treatment here at the Club so if you suffer with foot or ankle pain please do get in touch and let us help you get walking and exercising pain free again!
Shockwave therapy is just one of the treatment options the Physiotherapists here at the Club use, we also offer acupuncture, therapeutic ultrasound along with joint mobilisations and soft tissue manual therapy as part of our physiotherapy treatments Other services include Sports Therapy - Emanuela is here offering sports massage, 1:1 rehabilitation / strengthening / mobility programmes, and menopause packages with Marika our Dietician who offers weigh management programmes as well as offering nutritional therapy for anyone wishing to lead a healthier lifestyle. We offer termly Pilates classes for beginners or those with health conditions or joint problems such as back pain or osteoarthritis. These classes are bookable through OneBody as they are not on the Halo system We are also running a private Pain Clinic with Jacinta, a Specialist Pain Management Nurse to help those living with chronic pain reduce their day to day pain levels and improve overall quality of life. We also hope to be able to offer private ultrasound scanning soon As part of this expansion into new services we would be pleased to get your feedback on what you would like to see as part of the healthcare services here at the Club, so please do follow this link to give some valuable feedback to help shape our service and communications with you the members.
If you have any questions or would like some advice as to how the OneBody Clinic can help you, then please do contact Liz Barker, Clinic Director, on 01223 953434 / 07725 693259 / onebody@cambridgecountryclub.com
In the meantime lets enjoy some sun at last and boost our vitamin D levels!
