The King’s Speech Hello! Welcome to C3 Kids! My name is _________, and this is _________, and we are so glad you’re here. Before we have the best time today, there are a couple of things you need to know: THE FIRST THING that you need to know is that we love new people. Is there anyone here this morning who hasn’t come to C3 Kids before? We’d love to meet you! [Go into the crowd and meet new people]. If you’re new here today, we want you to know that we are here to help you. There a bunch of really cool people in this room who are here to help you too – they’re in orange lanyards. So if you ever need anything, ask them, because they are here to help you. THE SECOND THING that you need to know is that at C3 Kids you are having fun on your best behaviour. That means no poking the person next to you, or calling out and making weird noises. It also means that when we're loud and excited up here [raise voice] we want you guys to get loud and excited too! But when we're quiet [lower voice] you’re also quiet. We have some quiet seat treasures to give away to people who are having fun and doing the right thing. The leaders in orange lanyards are looking for people who are sitting up, listening and getting involved! THE THIRD THING that you need to know is that right now in C3 Kids we are in a series called The Blessed Life and it’s all about how a life with God is abundantly blessed – Jesus loved to teach about blessing and he wants us to be blessed! This term, there are posters and stickers for you to collect, so make sure that you come every week and fill up your poster! You can hang it up at home, above your bed, on the fridge, on the toilet door… wherever! Now are you ready to have loads of fun?
