PRIMARY MESSAGE OUTLINE: THE BLESSED LIFE TERM 4 2017 Hi there! What a pleasure and a privilege you have of bringing the Word of God to young people this week. Here’s a brief Message Outline to help you prepare. This will help you keep the message upbeat, positive, appropriate and relevant. Feel free to tailor it to your own style, so that you’re playing to your strengths as you deliver the Word. We are believing with you that you’ll see young hearts choose Jesus.

Week 1: Blessed This term we are looking at Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount – where he spoke about The Beatitudes. The Beatitudes are all about what it means to live a blessed life. A blessed life is one where we follow God and live the way he asks us to live. The beatitudes are a good guide to how to live life. We depend on God and put our trust in him, more than anything the world can offer. That’s why we follow him, his example and his word. POINTS TO HIT: - this term is about living a blessed life - Jesus teaches us about what a blessed life is during his Sermon on the Mount - to be blessed is to be covered by God’s protection and to live in his favour - God’s blessing is something we really want SCRIPTURES: Term scripture: Jesus' disciples gathered around him, and he taught them: God blesses those people who depend only on him.
