PRIMARY GAME: THE BLESSED LIFE TERM 4 2017 Hi team! Here’s a great game you can play as a part of your service this week. It’s versatile, so you can modify it to suit the age group and amount of kids in your service. Have fun!

The Mouthguard Challenge WHAT YOU WILL NEED: - 2 mouth guards - Mouthguard Challenge cards (attached) - a hat (or something to hold the challenge cards in) - a timer SET UP: 1. Place the 15 pieces of paper inside the hat and place them at the front of the ‘stage’ alongside the mouth guards. 2. Alternatively, have the phrases on your phone for the representative to read before they try and say it. HOW TO PLAY: 1. Explain that this is a challenge of guessing and saliva. 2. The aim of the game is to be the winning team by guessing the most tricky phrases their representative is trying to say. 3. Split the kids up into teams and elect one ‘Mouthguard Master’ from each team, coming up the front and putting in their mouthguards before play (they get a bit salivary so don’t put them in too early!). Explain that one team will have a turn at a time. 4. The Mouthguard Master will have one minute to try and say as many tricky phrases as possible. Their team must guess what they are saying. If the team is successful in guessing, the Mouthguard Master must pick up another piece of paper and continue the game until the one minute timer is up. 5. Teams get one point for each guess. 6. Have each team have a turn and tally the points for each round. The team with the most amount of points at the end, wins!
