hether you’ve been dating for a few months or you’ve been married for years, there will come a time when you need new activities for date night. Luckily, romantic date night ideas don’t have to be extravagant—you can have fun home date nights that are even better than any fancy dinner at a restaurant or night out on the town. These at home date night ideas are perfect for couples looking for fresh, casual (and affordable!)
1. Play a Board or Card Game. Break out Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly or Scrabble. Play some Gin Rummy or War. A little friendly competition is always healthy for any relationship.
3. Put a Puzzle Together. Challenge yourselves to a huge puzzle and see if you can figure it out in one night.
2. Watch Your Favorite Childhood Movies. What better way is there to spend a few hours together, cozying up on the couch? Make a throwback snack (like hot popcorn mixed with chocolate chips) and snuggle in for the night.
4. Have Breakfast in Bed Together. Usually, one person makes the other breakfast in bed, but there's no reason both of you can't curl up under the covers with coffee, pastries, and eggs.
