How to make it These succulent pork sausages will be the star of any barbecue feast. These delicious dogs are marinated and glazed in cider to give that extra smoky sticky taste.
1 Preheat the oven to gas 5, 190째C, fan 170째C. Put the shallots in an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of water, cover with foil and roast for 1 hour. Set aside and leave to cool slightly. 2 Put the cider, honey and mustard in a small saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes, until the mixture has reduced by about twothirds. What it takes 3 Meanwhile, put the sausages in a roasting tin and cook for 10 minutes, then coat with half the glaze and put back into the oven to cook for a further 10 minutes.
4 Squeeze the cooked shallots out of their skins, roughly chop, then stir in with the sausages. Brush the meat with the rest of the glaze, then return the tin to the oven for 5-10 minutes until everything is golden brown and sticky. 5 Put the ciabatta in the oven for 5 minutes. Season the sausages, then spoon 2 sausages and some shallots onto each warmed ciabatta bap and serve.

Do You Have The Midas Touch? I’m sure you’re familiar with the story of King Midas. He was a very kind man who was granted one wish by the god Dionysus as a reward for his behaviour. Midas’s wish was for “Everything I touch to turn to gold.” And his wish was granted! Wow… his biggest wish….to be rich beyond his wildest dreams…so that he would always be able to have whatever he wanted…at his merest touch now. However, as you will well know, Midas came to regret having his wish granted because everything he touched did indeed turn to gold…including his bed, his clothes, his food and water, his friends, and even his daughter. Recognising that this was not what he really wanted, and just in time to avoid it all becoming an overwhelming disaster, Midas asked Dionysus to undo his request and return everything to how it used to be. Luckily, his request was granted.

Two things in particular occur to me from this story. Firstly, Midas discovered that everything being gold did not make him rich: in fact, he became infinitely richer when he learned to appreciate the things that really matter in life. Secondly, he proved the saying “Be careful what you wish for… in case you get it!” Most of us, like Midas, don’t fully think through all the implications and consequences of what we wish for. Some people seem to have their deepest wishes regularly ‘granted’ but don’t acquire true happiness (lots of celebrities spring to mind!). Lifestyles MBPTS - Novembers Position of the Month - The Rolling like a ball. This is a great move any one can do at home or build in to your gym work outs. This move really targets the abdominal area especially when trying to balance at the end of the move. Position 1 (set position)

Sit yourself on the floor on something soft. Really try to engage your abs by tucking your stomach deep in to the back of your spine. At the same time, squeeze your bum and create a C shape with your spine. Hold onto your shins and lift both feet off the floor touching heals together if possible. In this position you will really feel your abs kicking in.
Roll back thinking about your vertebrae, as you do so massage each vertebrae one by one as they touch the floor but you must keep your abs and thight through out. When you have reached the finishing position your tail bone should be facing the ceiling and you should be on the top of your shoulder blades. Not your neck. Repeat this as many times as you want and try and build it in to your work out at home or in the gym.
