Harold Frodsham, president of South Bay Lumber Co., Hawthorne, California, announces that Tom Philips, member of one of Southern California's pioneer lumber families, has been named a vice-president of the wholesale redwood distributing concern. It was further stated that young Philips has acquired a 50/o financial interest in all South Bay holdings and a 50/o interest in all enterprises presently owned by Harold Frodsham. Tom will also have full charge of all sales and procurement for the company and function as general manager, including the remanufacturing and mill activity of the redwood firm.
