Funeral services for Homer E. Mellott, 51, lumber executive and resident of Costa Mesa, Calif., for 43 years, were conducted November 3 Mrs. Ida Goodman, 52, mothet ol Larry Weiland of the A-Arrow Building Supply and Lumber Co., Los Angeles, died November 3. She also leaves her husband, George, Mr. Weiland's stepfather, with whom she had been associated in the yards on Mission Road for more than 25 years; a daughtir, Sandra, two brothers and a sister. Her home was at 18O N. Highland Ave. Entombment was in Beth Olam Mausoleum Mrs. Lillie Connor Nelson,82, wife of William Matthew Nelson, who recently retired as treasurer of The Pacific Lumber

Co. and president of the First National Bank of Scotia, and with whom she celebated her 63rd wedding anniversary September l, died November 1 at the family home, Meadow Gardens, Pasadena. Mrs. Nelson was the youngest of seven children of Catherine and Joseph Connor, an early building contractor in Los Angeles who came from Texas in the late 1850s. She was born on what is now 5th street between Hill and Olive in 1873 and was the last member of this pioneer family. She and her husband were classmates at the old Sand Hill Grammar School in downtown L, A. Besides her husband of the lumber firm, she leaves a daughter in San Francisco and a grandson in the navy Mrs. Eva M. Alexander, lumberyard owner, died October 27. }ler home was at 3512 W. 48th St..
