U.S. Plywood Deqler Chief
William Lehrburger has been named di' rector of dealer marketing for United States Plywood Corporation, president Gene C. Brewer has announced.
"This is a new position created to take fullest advantage of our headquarters dealer program," Brewer said. o'This program, a major change in marketing approach to the lumber dealer, was launched a year ago and has been highly successful in establishing close branch-dealer relationships throughout the country."
Lehrburger, formerly marketing manager for hardwood plywood for the com- pany, now is responsible for U.S. Plywood's entire product marketing program to retail lumber dealers throughout the country. The company has 166 sales and distribution centers in the United States and Canada. He joined U.S. Plywood in 1953. Following special training at the company's Algoma, Wis. architectural plywood plant, he worked in import-export and sales. In L96I Lehrburger was appointed manager of United States Plywood's Hartford, Conn. branch.
