Mercer Elected Sacramento Club President
AYNE MERCER of Building Material
Distributors, Sacramento, is the victorious candidate for president of Sacramento Hoo-Hoo Club 109.
The installation took place September 16. president Wayne receiving the nod, and the gavel from outgoing prexy Al Johnson who skippered the club through an outstanding 1963-64 year.
Clifi Frazier was selected to serve as the club's vice-president and Guy Spence, CalEra Lumber Co., secretary-treasurer.
Directors for the coming year are: Reuben Berget of Gordon MacBeath; Charlie Tyler, Building Supply & Lumber; John Hunt, Blattner-Bahr; John Bozich, Capitol Plywood; Ed O'Kelley, Sayre Lumber Co.; and Jack Dasch, now with Speckert Lumber Company.
The entire slate of officers and directors was ironed out at a pre-election session in the Cypress and Hemlock Rooms, MacBeath Hardwood Company lending considerable moral and liquid support during this caucus. Besides an excellent turnout of over 40 younger members, three elder statesmen, Leon Clare, Russ Tracy and C. D. LeMaster, put their years of experience behind the Nlercer-Frazier-Spence ticket.
