General Chairman Ev Lewis, of Gamerston & Green

Lumber Co., Oakland, announces that the 1949 Reveille, to be held at the Claremont Hotel, Berkeley, on Friday, May 13, will be for lumbermen only. 'The capacity of the dining room is limited to 550, and indications are, he said, from ticket sales, which started April 4, that there will be a bumper attendance.

Tickets are $5.25 each, and are obtainable from any of the committee chairmen. There will be a filet steak dinner, and well chosen entertainment.

Golf Tournament

Don Kesselring, UnitedStates Plywood Corp., 330 Brush Street, Oakland 7, is chairman of the golf committee. His telephone number is TWinoaks 3-5544. The tournament will again be held at Mira Vista Country Club. Starting time will be 10:00 a.m., May 13. There wili be prizes and refreshments.

San Diego Hoo-Hoo Meeting

The San Diego Hoo-Hoo held a dinner meeting at the Cuyamaca Club, San Diego, Friday evening, April 1, which was largely attended'

George W. Dulany, of La Jolla, Past Snark of the Universe, was the guest speaker, and he gave an interesting talk. Mr. Dulany had as his guest, Walter Net- tleton, of Seattle. Other highlights of the meeting included the shor,ving of the Douglas Fir Plyrvood Association ne\,v motion picture, "Nfagic Wood," rvhich rvas provided by Dee Essley, and films f urnished by the Weyerhaeuser Timber Co. and Timber Engineering Co. John Maxwell, of the La N'Iesa Planing Mill furnished and operatecl the projection machine.

Arthur Batliner, Bert Cooper, Tom Haverfield, and Dee Essley, of Los Angeles, attencled the meeting.

President Carl Gavotto presided.

Successful Concat at Stockton

Central California Hoo-Hoo Club No. 62 sponsored a Concat at the Wolf Hotel, Stockton, March 26.
