The Timberlodge Division of California Pacific Sales Corp., San Francisco, has anounced appointment of Tack G. Gibson as West Coast sales manager. Mr. Gibson, a native Californian, rvill headquarter in Merced. He brings a wealth of construction and building supply sales experience to his new' asignment including service as field director for the National Retail Lumbermens Association Dealer Research Council; owner and operator of a. retail yard; and component constructron company.

From Koreq Show Upswing

Flardwood plywood imports from Korea in 1960 totaled an almost negligible 158 thousand square feet. A trend in imports from Korea appears to be developing. While imports from Korea through May of 1961 totaled only 332 thousand square feet, imports in June, July, and August were, respective ly, .891, 1.273, and 3.005 million square {ect, totaling for the 8 month period 5.5 million square feet. While this rept:esents iess than one-half of one per cent of total annual plywood imports, this 3-month trend is of interest.
