PHILIP J. MC COY

Philip J. McCoy, 58, founder and president of the Western Pine Supply Co., Emeryville, Ca. died August 9, after a long illness.

A native of Bonners Ferry, Id., Mr. McCoy was an officer during World War II and a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Dartmouth College.

He was past national president of Phillips Exeter Alumni Association and trustee of the school at the time of his death; and was a director of Johnson Oyster Co., Limentour Bay and of McPhail's, Inc., San Rafael, Ca.

He was former chairman of the Northern California chapter of the Young President's Organization, chairman of the Conference Board, Smaller Business Council. He also belonged to E. Clampus Vitus, the Guardsmen, Lagunitas Country Club and HooHoo International.

Survivors are his widow, Pheobe; a son, four daughters, a brother and a sister.

Floyd Elliot

Word has been received of the death in May of Floyd W. Elliot. He was 89.

He was the San Francisco manager of the Schafer Lumber & Mill Co. of Washington for several years. When that firm was sold he opened his own offices in San Francisco until his retirement l5 years ago.

Mr. Elliot was a past president of the San Francisco Hoo-Hoo club.

He is survived by his widow Roberta; a son, daughter, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
