The 197 7 -7 8 Distribution Directory of the North American Wholesale Lumber Association is now in distribution.

The 76-p. book lists addresses, personnel, products and services of the 535 NAWLA member comPanies'

It is sectionalized by the three membership categories of wholesaler'active, producer-associate, and service affiliate. Many company branch offices are also listed along with information on market penetration bY each member firm.

The opening nine pages deal with the association's organization, programs, activities, current officers, directors and involved member principals.

Assn. Drops "Western"

The Western Wood Moulding & Millwork Producers has changed their official name to Wood Moulding & Millwork Producers. Warren C. Jimerson, exec. v.p., said, "the name change, which deleted the Western, is appropriate when you view the future of the industry and the association."

While Western species and Western production dominates the market future growth will probably take place by broadening the species used and the geographical base of the industry.

The association has been active in marketing and standards for wood mouldings on a national basis for many years so the name change is one of identifying its present scope of operations.

PGL Buying Show: Sept. 25

The Palmer G. Lewis Co. 5th Annual Customer Buying Show, "World Series of Values" takes place in Auburn, Wa. Sept.25.

Customers are expected to attend in record numbers from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Alaska.

Over 60 product lines will be set up in special exhibit booths in the warehouse. One day special prices will be in effect on all items shown. In addition, each booth will have individual merchandise priz,es, and there will be a grand prize.
