Precision Redwood Manufacturing Company also operates a branch manufacturing plant, Modern Redwood Products, Ontario, Canada, which is engaged in the same type of manufacturing process as the parent firm.

Engraved on the unique, dimensional redwood plaque, presented by Kreiss to the company, is the inscription: "In distinguished recognition of the achievement of exceeding one million feet of Simpson redwood sales in one year.1977."

Individual redwood awards were presented to others in the firm who helped achieve the million foot goal.
