NEW PROGRAMS TIED TO '77 TRENDS
This year and next, Southern California redwood dealers and wholesalers may be involved in new programs, such as last summer's grading seminar for 600 industry representatives at Simpson Building Supply in Cerritos.
With growing industry organization, similar shows could be held in every major U.S. metropolitan area to boost general knowledge of and demand for all wood products, according to Jim Martindale, 1976 seminar chairman. A second Southern California seminar, expected to draw at least 1,000 dealers, wholesalers, architects and contractors, has been scheduled tentatively for this June.

Other wholesaler-dealer promotion programs tying in with new CRA advertising and publicity campaigns can make 1977 very profitable.
