Our pupils are eager to come to school to learn, experiment, question and to play. Our expert teaching staff work to ensure that each child has a rich and varied academic experience, developing their knowledge through exciting and individualised teaching catering for each child’s individual needs through academic excellence, sport, and the arts.
Based on the English National curriculum, our teaching reflects our international location, preparing pupils to be dynamic, curious, and passionate young adults.
Our Early Years programme consists of Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Reception classes for children aged between two and five years old, taught by dedicated classroom teachers.
Children in Years 1-2 build on the solid foundations of their Early Years experience by participating in more dedicated subject specific lessons.
Our curriculum for pupils in Years 3-6 inspires and challenges children both inside and beyond the classroom. Within our curriculum,
we offer opportunities for all pupils to be ambitious in their learning so they are able to develop their skills of problem solving, critical thinking and reflection.
Uniquely, we introduce even more specialist teaching in Year 5. At this age, children are ready for additional rigour and depth. The passion and knowledge that subject specialists bring sparks a broad range of life-long interests.
“The best school in the world.”
“Brighton is an exceptional school.”

Our outstanding teachers encourage inquisitive minds, inspire confidence, and provide a wide range of exciting activities outside of the classroom. Building on the excellent foundations laid in our prep school, pupils join our senior school when they reach the age of 11.
Throughout their time at Brighton College, all our pupils study our innovative and acclaimed ‘Story of Our Land’ course, which has been developed to provide pupils with a real-world sense of a nation’s story as well as an understanding of global developments. Our excellent academic curriculum is complemented by a wealth of sports, STEM activities, performing arts and a wide range of co-curricular activities.

The Good Schools Guide
We believe that we all have a responsibility to play a full and active part in society. Pupils spend time helping out in the community, visiting elderly people and supporting homeless and disadvantaged people. Thousands of baht are raised for local and national charities each year, and our annual Make a Difference Day sees every pupil and teacher spend the day working in the community.
Brighton College works hard to be a kind and caring community that looks out to the local surroundings, as well as beyond to national and international contexts. We are conscious the attitudes that pupils develop will remain with them throughout their lives, and so we foster a culture in which our pupils appreciate their responsibility towards other members of society. We see ourselves as a part of society, not apart from it.
We know that young people who are happy are young people who thrive. And we believe the best way of achieving a happy and content community is to ensure that everyone feels valued for who they are.
We want our pupils to be first-class versions of themselves, not secondclass versions of someone else, and we place great emphasis on acceptance and mutual respect.
Pastoral care is central to what we do here at Brighton College. A culture of kindness is at the heart of a Brighton education – all pupils are
treated as individuals, encouraged to respect one another, and nurtured to become the best version of themselves.
Every pupil is a member of a House and part of a tutor group. Pupils meet each morning with their tutors to start the day. Every day ends with a dedicated pastoral session, which focuses on wellbeing and personal development, building and fostering a sense of community and team spirit, helping each pupil become a well-rounded, independent global citizen.
“Shaped me into the best version I can be.”
“A top international school with world-class facilities.”
The Good Schools Guide
From pupils in the earliest year groups, all the way up to those studying for IGCSE and A-level in Physical Education, there’s something for everyone, including football and tennis, basketball and badminton, athletics, swimming, kayaking and more, making the most of our world-class facilities.
Our ethos is very much about sport for everyone, and we cater for all pupils. We firmly believe that all pupils deserve the opportunity to enjoy sport, regardless of their ability. By devoting time and attention to those who are less confident, as well as to those with more experience, we develop life skills that bring resilience and success beyond school life.
We provide our pupils with the very best opportunities to learn and compete in truly world-class sporting facilities. Our young athletes benefit from the very best coaching from top international coaches ensuring that their talents are nurtured and supported at the highest levels.
Our teams regularly play competitive matches across all key sports, including football, swimming, basketball, tennis and badminton. Not only do our young sportspeople experience competitions regionally, but also internationally as part of the annual FOBISA and COBIS events.
Art, dance, drama, and music are central to life at Brighton College. Our pupils enjoy the most modern and dynamic opportunities in all the arts studied here. From our youngest learners in our Early Years to those in our Senior School, dance and drama and music classes all form part of the curriculum time.
Each year sees a vast range of musical, dramatic and dance productions, from informal concerts to major performances, of which many take place in our beautiful 400 seat theatre, for parents and pupils to enjoy.
Specialist art, design and technology facilities encourage pupils to express their own ideas, experiment with a wide variety of media and materials and learn to explore the world around us from studying the works of inspirational artists, photographers and designers, from a vast array of culture.
“I wholeheartedly recommend.”
