SOLVANG VISITOR CENTER VISITOR GUIDE DISTRIBUTION SEPTEMBER 2019 Santa Ynez Valley And Solvang Visitor Guide - VisitSYV My motto for marketing Solvang through the Solvang Visitor Center is Hard work, Teamwork and Collaboration. One of my favorite quotes about collaboration is "If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself." As I mentioned to Shelby recently, I am not here to compete with the VisitSYV or any other organization for that matter, my goal is to complement your efforts in marketing Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley. My first method will be sharing your posts to increase your reach. If you will follow us on Facebook and Instagram @SolvangVisitoCenter and hashtag your posts #solvangvisitorcenter, we can help spread your information.

Here is my report for the month of September 2019 My team made five trips to the Buellton storage facility to pick up The Santa Ynez Valley and Solvang Visitor Guides. We picked up between 10 â&#x20AC;&#x201C; 16 bundles each time. And for the month of September we handed out a total of 1,160 of these visitor guides. We primarily used the visitor guide for the wine map on page 86 to show the three loops that people could make to visit different vineyards and wineries. The goal being to encourage longer overnight stays in Solvang.

If your business is located in Solvang and you would like to be part of Solvang group tours, please let me know. We are beginning those this weekend with the Tournament of Roses committee and court (35 people) who will be meeting the mayor and/or mayor protem and then touring five shops in Solvang.
