Qualification Overview
This is a fantastic course for anyone with a passion for sport. For pupils who enjoy physical education, this qualification will provide the opportunity to build knowledge and develop skills which will support in progression to university or even securing a job in sport.
Pupils will learn about many aspects of sport, particularly thinking about how exercise and physical activity contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Time will be spent discovering career opportunities across the sports and outdoor sectors.
This course could open-up possible career choices within Teaching and Education, Health Sciences, Sports Coaching, Personal Training, Sports Management, and Sports Journalism.

Approach to Learning
This course is completely coursework based. Grades will be achieved based on the ability to demonstrate knowledge of the subject area.
Coursework can include: written assignments, practical tasks, group discussions or in class assessments.
Teachers will assist with support and preparation for written assignments.
