Qualification Overview
This course is for pupils who have a passion for caring for others and want to make a difference to someone else’s life.
The Certificate of Health and Social Care equips pupils with the knowledge and skills to understand the roles and responsibilities of health and social care practitioners. The qualification supports access to further education and a wide range of jobs within the health and social care sector including: Care Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant and more.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification but it is a progression from level 2. TheCertificateinHealthandSocialCarehasbeenwrittenbyateamofsubject matterexperts.
Approach to Learning
These qualifications are made up of units each representing a small step of learning. This allows the qualifications to be completed at the pupils own pace. All units achieved can be ‘banked’. Which means that if pupils want to take another qualification which includes the same units pupils do not have to take them again.
The qualification includes a work placement and external set assessment.

Site Carpentry Level 2
City and Guilds Qualification Overview
This vocational City and Guilds qualification will provide you with the opportunity to learn, develop and practise the skills required for an Apprenticeship, employment or further progression in carpentry study.
Approach to Learning
This is a practical course which is housed in our dedicated onsite facility (being developed Summer 2023). By nature, this is a very practical course that involves using fixed and transportable tools and machinery.

> Carry out second fixing operations
> Carry out first fix roofing and stairs
> Carry out second fixing double doors and mouldings
