Qualification Overview

Are you interested in Uniformed Services? Would you like to develop skills that will make you even more employable and stand out from the crowd? If the answer is ‘Yes’, this is the qualification for you.

This qualification aims to provide you with general knowledge and interpersonal skills to aid your recruitment into the uniformed services. Uniformed Services include an amazing range of roles, these include, Army Officer, Firefighter, Forensic Investigator, Police Officer, to name but a few.

This qualification provides you with an introduction to the career opportunities in the uniformed services as well as providing optional units to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Approach to Learning

Practical work is the main approach to learning. For example, improving physical fitness through activities, developing your leadership skills in problem solving games and carrying out navigation exercises in a remote location.

The course is assessed through coursework only.
