Qualification Overview

This course is ideal for pupils who wish to understand the universe and answer the big questions.

Physicists look for the hidden laws which explain why all matter and energy exists, where it comes from and how it behaves the way it does. Physics is ever changing and developing, and this A Level course reflects the nature of physics.

A Level Physics is highly respected and can assist with further education and employment.

Approach to Learning

Practical work is included throughout the course to secure learning. Independent investigation is encouraged in the Sixth Form Science Laboratory. The course uses a mixture of teaching resources including specialist dyslexia techniques to ensure pupils achieve their best.
