The Union Station Concourse Redesign aimed to modernize and open up the space, creating a more streamlined and contemporary transit experience. The updated design featured terrazzo flooring, sliding glass doors along the north gate wall, and butt-glazed glass with a custom frit pattern to enhance transparency and natural light.
My contributions included design development for the elevator, glass railings, and a new stair configuration. While the full project is currently on hold, a portion of the redesigned concourse is set to be constructed as a preview of the larger vision.
