Double Walls
Flood wall and the highway caused another wall of negative perception around the river People’s negative perception towards the space under Metropolitan Highway has influenced the building typologies and land-use of the adjacent areas along the river. The combination of these walls makes the river
even more inaccessible. My proposal is to take thiis wall of negative perception by improving the spaces adjacent to Nihonbashi River.
