ROSANNE CASH — WITH JOHN LEVENTHAL.

7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, Boulder Theater, 2032 14th St., Boulder, 303-786-7030.

Rosanne Cash is musical royalty, and she’s taken her position seriously over the past four decades, producing 15 fulllength records and earning four Grammys — three of them for her 2014 album ‘The River & the Thread.’ On her latest release, ‘She Remembers Everything,’ Cash takes listeners on a journey through the styles that have defined her career, from the twang and heartache that typified records like ‘Seven Year Ache’ and ‘Interiors,’ to the elegant jazz that surfaced in her residencies at Carnegie Hall and the San Francisco Jazz Center. At 64, Cash is more open than ever.

KELLER WILLIAMS.

MAKERBOLDER With more than 100 indoor, hands-on activities, the seventh annual Rocky Mountain STEAM Fest has something for everyone. This two-day indoor festival is focused on science and arts activities. Learn about and see demonstrations of drones, combat robots, exploding things (seriously), gooey experiments, high-tech and fine arts. There will be food trucks to fill tummies, and hard beverages for those old enough to imbibe. It’s the perfect way to spend a weekend, no matter what weather Colorado throws at us. Tickets are $11-$60 at eventbrite.com.

TAYLOR CROTHERS Keller Williams released his first album in 1994, FREEK, and has since given each of his albums a single syllable title: Buzz, Spun, Breathe, Sans and Add. Each title serves as a concise summation of the concept guiding each project. Grass, for example, is a bluegrass recording cut with the husbandwife duo The Keels. Add is the follow up to his instrumental release Sans — just adding in lyrics, some of which Keller says, “came from micro daydreams while other songs simply wrote themselves.” Williams is a genre bender, no doubt about it, with a high-energy stage show that lends itself nicely to the intimate space of The Caribou Room.

March 7 and 8, Boulder County Fairgrounds, 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, 303-651-8472.

7 p.m. Thursday, March 5, The Post, 2027 13th St., Boulder, 720-517-5859.

Boulder International Film Festival keeps its popular live music program going with the 2020 Singer-Songwriter Showcase. Festival-goers are invited to hang with their favorite filmmakers in the Filmmaker Lounge at The Post Brewing Co. while listening to great music and discovering great new local talent. Check out sets from Finn O’Sullivan, who channels the vibes of Regina Spektor, dodie and Phoebe Bridgers; former Boulderite Martín Better Longo’s project Fruta Brutal, which blends alt rock with jazz and Latin American stylings; the boundarypushing, powerhouse vocalist Courtney Noe and many more.
