Golden Globe Winner Sylvester Stallone Lists His $4.1M Desert Villa for $300k Less Than What He Paid Though Sylvester Stallone recently won a 2016 Golden Globe for his role in Creed, the actor is reportedly taking a loss when it comes to his real estate portfolio. Earlier this month, Stallone put his desert villa on the market with Hurwitz James Company for $4.199 million—$300,000 less than what the actor paid for the Mediterranean-style property back in 2010. Located in the gated La Quinta Madison Club golf community near Palm Springs, the mansion offers mountain views along the western edge of the Coachella Valley. The four-bedroom home sits on nearly a half-acre of land and features Spanish and Mediterranean design elements throughout. It offers close to 5,200 square feet of living space, including a great room, formal dining room, wine room, breakfast nook, four bedrooms and four full bathrooms.

According to Variety, the actor bought the home in 2010 for $4.5M and just a year later, threw it on the market for $4.3M (which was quickly upped to $4.5M) and then appeared in 2014 with a price tag of $4.2M. Maybe now that the actor is back in the limelight, it will be a little easier to sell.
