Vkusnye Bukety delicious bouquets Raccontaci qualcosa di te, che tipo di studi hai fatto e dove vivi? Il mio nome è Darya Kadieva e sono uno dei fondatori dello studio “Vkusnye Bukety” (che significa delicious bouquets), che ha sede a Minsk, la capitale della Bielorussia. Come è nata la tua idea di creare un bouquet tridimensionale? Fin dall’infanzia mi sono sempre piaciuti i fiori, sono cresciuta, mi sono laureata e ho trovato un lavoro, ma poi ho deciso di cambiare vita e ho
fatto un corso alla scuola internazionale di floral design “Nicole”. Un giorno mi sono chiesta come potevo abbinare i fiori ai frutti? E così è nato il mio primo bouquet! A quel tempo, il tema dei bouquet “deliziosi” non era sviluppato affatto, ecco perché i miei lavori hanno avuto subito una grande popolarità. Alle persone è piaciuta questa insolita combinazione di frutta e fiori, ed io mi sono divertita a trovare sempre nuove varianti e accostamenti. Oggi siamo una grande squadra di fioristi

e il nostro studio è considerato non solo in Bielorussia ma anche all’estero, infatti ogni giorno riceviamo molte e-mail e commenti da persone provenienti da tutto il mondo. Dove trovi l’ispirazione per le tue creazioni? Oggigiorno, trovare l’ispirazione è molto difficile; sembra che tutte le scoperte siano già state fatte. Ma noi non smettiamo di cercare idee e di essere sempre creativi. La nostra squadra comprende anche persone con diverse formazioni artistiche e quindi ci ispiriamo alle opere dei grandi artisti del Rinascimento e del passato, quando la natura morta era in auge, per noi questi quadri rappresentano gli antenati dei nostri bouquet di frutta.
Pensiamo che un nostro lavoro non sia solo un prodotto in un bel pacchetto, ma lo consideriamo come un oggetto d’arte. Sviluppiamo un concept diverso per ogni bouquet, coordiniamo colori, trame e forme per offrire ai nostri clienti non solo una composizione di fiori da regalare, ma anche una decorazione d’interni. Certamente ci facciamo ispirare dalla natura, nei nostri mazzi usiamo il meglio in fatto di materiali naturali, cercando di enfatizzare la bellezza di ogni “filo d’erba”, sembra banale, ma una parte importante del processo è la selezione dei frutti. Tutti i frutti vengono scelti attraversano una sorta di casting: non solo visivamente bello, ma anche fresco, perché il bouquet deve durare per molto tempo.

Because still life is the forefather of a fruit bouquet. For us, a fruit bouquet
is not just a product in a package, but it’s an art object. We are developing the concept of every bouquet, coordinate colors, textures and shapes. We offer to our clients the product not only like a gift to somebody but also like an interior decoration. Of course, nature inspires us so much. In our bouquets we are using maximum of natural materials, we are trying to emphasize the beauty of each blade of grass. An important part of the process is the selection of fruits. All the fruits go through a sort of casting: it must not be only beautiful but also fresh, because the bouquet must please the recipient for a long time.

Le strade da percorrere sono spesso tortuose e a curve, sono affascinanti e circondate da campi agricoli immensi dove gruppi di pecore brucano indisturbate nell’erba. I villaggi di campagna
hanno le case lungo le strade e con i loro giardinetti ci affascinano di colori sgargianti; si coltivano cosmee, zinnie, tageti e begonie, ma spesso troviamo anche amaranto, ricino, ipomea blu, rose, dalie, petunie e i classici pelargoni alle finestre. Una cosa che non manca mai nei loro cortili è la pergola d’uva oltre agli alberi da frutto soprattutto quelli di

Questi antichi palazzi si susseguono ordinati lungo le viuzze strette dei centri storici per sfociare in piazze grandi e sontuose dove il cielo le sovrasta maestoso. I tetti degli edifici sono altissimi e molto inclinati e hanno delle particolari tegole in mattoni che si agganciano ad arte al sottostante tetto spiovente.

The towns of Romania are rich in superb architectures, some are medieval with towers and bulwarks raised by the Saxons to hinder the invasion of the Tartars. These ancient palaces follow each other along the narrow streets of the historical centers to flow into large and sumptuous squares where the sky overhangs them majestically. The roofs of the buildings are very high and very sloped and have special brick tiles that hook artfully to the underlying sloping roof.

all’Origine e la Romania Da cosa nasce la tua ricerca? Curiosità, interesse storico o cosa? La mia ricerca nasce da un interesse che forse è simile a quello di certi romanzieri e registi cinematografici. È sicuramente una forma di curiosità, ma anche una sorta di ricerca di universalità nelle cose che sono state di altre persone, in luoghi anche lontani da casa mia. Credo che sia agli antipodi dell’interesse
collezionistico. Prima di dare vita ad All’Origine ho fatto l’antiquario per molti anni e non riuscivo a riconoscermi negli oggetti che trattavo: arredi importanti che assurgevano a status symbol per chi li comprava. Oggi invece negli oggetti di origine umile credo di aver ritrovato un modo scanzonato, allegro e assolutamente contemporaneo di intendere i luoghi del vivere come “machine
How did start your research? From curiosity or historical interest? My research originates from an interest that is somehow similar to that of a novel writer or film director. It is for sure a kind of curiosity, but also a sort of quest for universality through objects that have belonged to other people long before us. I think it is the opposite of a collector’s interest.
I was an antique dealer for many years before opening my company All’Origine, and really couldn’t feel represented by the objects I dealt: mostly expensive furniture that where requested by my customers more as status symbols rather than functional or ornamental pieces. Today I feel like I have found a true connection with these much more humble objects. To me they represent

Quando vai alla scoperta di luoghi nascosti e particolari in Romania cosa ti aspetti di trovare? In Romania ho vissuto per oltre 10 anni e mi sento di dire che la conosco molto bene. E ciò che non conosco per esperienza diretta sono solito studiarlo. Sul Maramureṣ ad esempio avevo letto molto prima di visitarlo e quando ci sono stato

Ci sono legami familiari estremamente forti, il desiderio e la capacità di tenere vive tradizioni antiche e una straordinaria ospitalità. il Castello di Peles Il Castello di Peleș è situato in una delle città della Romania in grado di attrarre un alto numero di turisti, grazie alla sua localizzazione pittoresca e proprio al suo castello: Sinaia, ai piedi dei Monti Bucegi. Questo edificio è considerato tra i più belli in Europa e ha delle caratteristiche più uniche che rare.
Lo stile che domina l’intero Castello di Peleș è quello neorinascimentale tedesco e fu Re Carlo I di Romania a desiderarne la costruzione, dopo essersi innamorato del fantastico paesaggio di montagna che incorniciava il luogo dove oggi sorge questo maestoso capolavoro.
The Castle of Peleş is located in one of the cities of Romania able to attract a large number of tourists, thanks to its picturesque location and its castle: Sinaia, at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains. This building is considered among the most beautiful in Europe and has some more unique than rare features.
The style that dominates the entire Castle of Peleş is the neo-Renaissance German style and it was King Charles I of Romania who wanted to build it, after falling in love with the fantastic mountain landscape that framed the place where today still stands this majestic masterpiece. Until 1947 the castle, now accessible to

Ci sono molti aspetti davvero meravigliosi, e come abbiamo detto sopra unici, che rapiscono non soltanto i turisti ma anche coloro che guardano le fotografie di questo castello pur non avendolo mai visto dal vivo. Il Castello di Peleș vanta infatti 160 stanze, ma a conferire
un alone di mistero ed interesse è proprio il fatto che soltanto 10 di queste sono visitabili ed accessibili ai turisti. A colpire sono gli affreschi, i lampadari in vetro di Murano ma anche una caratteristica a dir poco introvabile nell’architettura moderna ma anche dell’epoca: il meraviglioso soffitto mobile in vetro dipinto che si apre sul cielo offrendo anche una parziale panoramica delle montagne,

Il Museo Nazionale, situato all’interno dello stesso castello di Peleș, ospita una delle più importanti collezioni di
pittura presenti a livello europeo. Imperdibili, per chi visita il castello, anche i terrazzi di 6 delle 10 stanze aperte al pubblico. Possiamo trovare non soltanto meravigliose panoramiche sul paesaggio ma anche statue in marmo di Carrara, fantastiche fontane e sculture di vario tipo. L’Armeria infine rappresenta un altro baluardo del Castello di Peleș e ospita diversi tipi di armeria tedesca.

Dopo questa scuola ho iniziato a pensare al trucco in un senso più ampio. Nei miei progetti uso spesso cose legate alla nostra tradizione polacca e nel 2014 ho anche ottenuto il titolo di Artista dell’anno grazie ad un editoriale per la rivista “Make-up Trendy”, dove ho usato in maniera creativa i pizzi Koniakow come corone, collane e gioielli. Raccontaci qualcosa del
progetto “Etno”, come è nata l’idea e come sei riuscita a realizzarlo. Il progetto “Etno” fu la conseguenza di quel premio. Mi commissionarono una nuova pubblicazione sulla rivista, quindi dovevo fare qualcosa di diverso e di migliore del primo progetto. Ho sempre amato l’alta moda, i vestiti minimal neri, ma anche i vestiti e gli abiti folk molto colorati, dovevo fondere insieme tutte queste cose. Vengo da una piccola città della Slesia, dove la tradizione è un elemento importante della vita quotidiana. Abbiamo molte occasioni e feste dove le persone preparano piatti tradizionali, si vestono
Tell us something about you. After four-year studies at school of dress design my idea of make up has changed. At this school I started to think about make up in a wide sense of scale. In my projects I often use things from our tradition, and in 2014 I’ve got a title of Artist of the year thanks to my editorial for “Make-up Trendy” magazine, where I used Koniakow laces as crowns, coronets collars and jewellery. Tell us something about the “Etno” project, how the idea was born
and how do you managed to make it happen. “Etno” project was a consequence of that prize. I’ve got a new cover magazine publication proposal, so I had to do something better than before. I always loved high fashion, black simple dresses and also colorful folksy wears and handcrafts, so I needed to combine these all stuff. I’m from small Silesian town, where tradition is an everyday life element. We have many big occasions or celebrations where people prepare traditional dishes, dress folk costumes and

Stavo cercando l’ispirazione e sono andata a trovare una mia amica che ha una casa piuttosto folk e qui ho trovato i Pajaki le classiche decorazioni polacche di carta crespa fatte a mano.

Nel XIX secolo la carta era economica e molto popolare in Polonia,
e in ogni casa c’era almeno una decorazione fatta di carta e paglia. Sedute insieme le donne creavano questi fiori di carta che poi attaccavano sia alle cornici che ai soffitti, creando questi bellissimi lampadari porta fortuna. La mia idea fu di utilizzarli non per arredare casa ma bensì il volto di una donna, quindi per questo progetto ho realizzato una corona di fiori di carta partendo dalla nostra antica tradizione. Iniziai a lavorare al progetto “Etno” nel 2016, fu un successo immediato, tanto che l’abbiamo poi esposto alla Brick Lane Gallery

Today we can buy them at shop but our creative grandmothers made decors with things that they had at home - like paper or threads.

interesting and challenging projects I’ve worked on was for Sainsbury’s supermarket. I worked as their in-store ‘Vegetable Butcher’ for a 3-day promotion where I chopped up vegetables for customers in interesting an unusual ways and gave advice on different cooking methods etc. It was a great experience to interface directly with customers and have the opportunity to share ideas for inspiring uses of vegetables!
An advice for those who would like to put their passion into work? Just stick with it and keep going in your own particular style, don’t be swayed by what other people are saying or doing. Do your own thing, however crazy or unusual it might be, it helps you stand out from the crown and if you’re good then you’ll be noticed and people will be drawn to you without you having to advertise yourself.

PERILLA Prepara una pastella leggera, anche solo farina acqua e sale, un uovo e del lievito se serve. Raccogli le foglie più grandi, quelle più vecchie che stanno alla base. Lavale e asciugale bene. Impastella le foglie e friggile con gioia. Condisci una insalata fresca con i fiori della perilla e godi a pieno della bontà di questa pianta.
Magia i fiori freschi, le foglie nelle minestre o come ripieno di ravioli. Mangiati le unghie se non riesci a tenere questa pianta in giardino perché ha i fiori ricchi di nettare buono per i bambini da mangiare e per le api per ingrassare nel miele.
PERILLA
BORRAGO
Prepare a light batter, with flour, water and salt, one egg and a little yeast if needed. Harvest the largest leaves, the oldest ones at the base of the plant. Wash them and dry them well. Dip the leaves in the batter and fry them with joy. Season a fresh salad with perilla flowers and enjoy the flavour of this plant.
Eat its fresh flowers, and its leaves in soups or as ravioli’s stuffing! You’ll regret it if you won’t be able to keep this plant in your garden since it has nectar-rich flowers good for children and for bees, which will produce a richer honey.
NASTURZIO Coltivare una pianta di Nasturzio da seme è semplice. Prendi qualche seme e mettilo a germogliare come facevi a scuola. Usa poi questi germogli per condire una zuppa calda o usali per una insalata rigenerante. Prendi ogni fiore, ogni bocciolo, usa anche le foglie se serve. Tutta la pianta è leggermente piccante e dal sapore unico.

CALENDULA Lasciati saziare dalle corolle gialle delle calendule. Le foglie ricce di succo sono preziose così come la farina che nasce dai fiori secchi. Coltiva la tua calendula e a fine estate raccogli i fiori e conservali asciutti per l’inverno. Quando sarai raffreddato, stanco e affaticato lasciati ristorare da queste margherite di sole.
CALENDULA NASTURTIUM Cultivating a Nasturtium seed plant is simple. Take some seeds and put them to sprout just like you did at school. Then use these sprouts to season a hot soup or for a regenerating salad. Take every flower, every bud, use the leaves too if needed. The whole plant is slightly spicy with a unique flavor.
Let yourself be satiated by the yellow corollas of marigolds. Their juicy leaves are as precious as the flour that comes from their dried flowers. Grow your calendula and at the end of summer collect its flowers and keep them dry for the winter. When you’ll have a cold, or will be tired and weary, let yourself be refreshed by these sunny daisies.

Petali colorati e coloranti. Falli essiccare e tienili sempre pronti. Sono utili per colorare sia l’acqua delle tisane che l’alcool delle bevande! Sono belli anche freschi, una manciata sul riso bollito, un paio di capolini per colorare l’insalata o infilati a collana come si usa in asia. Portano bene, rendono gioia e sono profumati da una essenza tipica; unica!
Non può mancare soprattutto in questo periodo dell’anno quando la nostalgia del sole e del caldo mi assale. Margherite bianche dal cuore giallo. Usa le foglie per eliminare i pidocchi e conserva i fiori come camomilla. Tieni una pianta in vaso in inverno in casa lascerà un bel profumo di estate e di prato.

They are beautiful fresh as well, place a handful on some boiled rice, or use a pair of flower heads to color the salad or thread them in a necklace in the asian way. Castelli in Transilvania La Transilvania (e la Romania) è sicuramente il luogo dove si possono trovare davvero tantissimi castelli, che nascondono una storia e appassionano. Il più famoso è il Castello di Dracula, che in realtà prende
il nome di Castello di Bran ed è situato nella rispettiva cittadina. L’ambientazione suggestiva rende il Castello di Bran una delle più importanti attrazioni turistiche: la storia di Vlad l’Impalatore sembra,

purtroppo, avere poco a che fare con il castello, ma la localizzazione in cima alle rocce tra gole profonde, rende sicuramente il Castello tetro e ricco di storia. L’unico legame che Vlad, “Dracula”, sembra aver con il castello riguarda le campagne combattute nei dintorni di Bran. Come detto, la Transilvania è la regione di castelli e non c’è soltanto il fantastico Castello di Dracula a monopolizzare l’attenzione, sebbene sia sicuramente il più attrattivo per via delle numerose leggende che lo riguardano. Esiste anche il Castello dei Corvino, in lingua
originale Castelul Corvinilor, che viene definito il più importante monumento gotico della Transilvania. A dare prestigio al Castello dei Corvino c’è sicuramente la sua storia: in base alle ricostruzioni, è il luogo in cui Vlad l’Impalatore è stato tenuto prigioniero da Mattia Corvino, per ben 7 anni dopo la sua cattura nel 1462. La visita si può organizzare anche per quanto riguarda gli esterni: i giardini spaziosi offrono poi l’accesso alla Sala del Trono, enorme e cuore pulsante del monumento rumeno.

The visit can also include the exteriors: the spacious gardens offer access to the huge Throne Room, the beating heart of this Romanian monument. The reconstruction occurred in Castelul Corvinilor, after a serious

La ristrutturazione avvenuta nel Castelul Corvinilor a seguito di un grave incendio che ne ha devastato alcune aree è stata ultimata nel 2015 e ha cambiato anche se di poco l’aspetto di questa storica attrazione turistica. Uno degli aspetti migliori e delle cose più affascinanti che potremo trovare, è sicuramente il ponte levatoio che a suo tempo era stato costruito lungo colline rocciose e sopra al fiume Zlaşti. All’interno del Castelul Corvinilor, il Castello dei Corvino, non si trovano
grandi aree arredate ma più che altro luoghi in cui vengono esposti elementi che ci aiutano a comprendere non solo la storia del castello ma anche della Romania. E’ nota in particolar modo la camera in cui si possono osservare degli oggetti di tortura frequentemente utilizzati ai tempi della costruzione. In circa un’ora e mezza è possibile visitare l’intero castello, secondo quanto calcolato anche dalle agenzie turistiche e l’ingresso per gli studenti e per i bambini è scontato.

Inside the Castelul Corvinilor, Corvin Castle, you won’t find large furnished areas but rather places where the elements exposed help understand not only the history of
the castle but of Romania as well. Especially known is the room where you can see torture objects frequently used at the time of its construction, which laid out in 1446. In about an hour and a half you can visit the entire castle, as calculated by the tourist agencies, and admission for students and children is discounted.

Ma il vero castello di Dracula è l’ormai distrutto Castello di Poenari, di cui oggi sono rimaste solo poche rovine e per raggiungerlo dovrete salire più di 1000 scalini.
Vlad III di Valacchia della Casa dei Drăculești, è un personaggio storico realmente esistito nel XV secolo, era noto in tutta Europa per essere crudele e sanguinario, infatti è ricordato come l’Impalatore, per l’usanza appunto di impalare i suoi nemici.

Non mancano nemmeno le storie legate agli oggetti volanti non identificati, infatti, la foresta divenne famosa nel 1968 quando Emil Barnea, un ex ufficiale dell’esercito, affermò di avere avvistato un UFO! La fotografia che scattò durante l’avvistamento all’epoca fece letteralmente il giro del mondo e fu oggetto
di controversie: alcuni infatti affermarono che si trattò semplicemente di un pallone aerostatico ripreso da un’angolazione particolare. Sempre negli anni ‘60, l’interesse per questo particolare sito fece sì che un professore di biologia, Alexandru Sift, vi studiò i fenomeni legati alla luce e al magnetismo, scattò moltissime fotografie, che accidentalmente vennero perse poco dopo la sua morte nel 1993. It’s being told that long ago a shepherd disappeared in the forest with 200 sheep, they were never found again. The shepherd’s name was Hoia Baciu and since then the forest was named after him. There are also stories related to unidentified flying objects, in fact, the forest became famous in 1968 when Emil Barnea, a former army officer, claimed to have
seen a UFO! The photograph he shot at the time during the sighting was seen all around the world, literally, and was the subject of controversies: in fact some people claimed that it was simply an aerostat taken from a particular angle. Also in the 60s, the interest in this particular site caused a professor of biology, Alexandru Sift, to study the phenomena related to light and magnetism, he took many photographs, which accidentally went lost shortly after his death in 1993. alberi contorti (curvati da una strana e innaturale forza) simili a quelli ricurvi presenti in Polonia, e anche dalla strana radura circolare “Poiana Rotundă” dove non cresce l’erba. Prima della nostra visita avevamo anche trovato e stampato una mappa della foresta con indicate le posizioni degli alberi ricurvi e … Giuro, li ho cercati per tre ore, ma non li ho trovati! La cosa interessante è che per promuovere questa strana foresta come destinazione turistica è nata l’Associazione RYLEx dove si possono prenotare mini-tour con guide turistiche di diverse ore, e volendo anche giornate intere
con accampamento notturno per avvistare meglio le “presenze”. Molti turisti e molti ragazzi arrivano da diversi paesi per registrare video da condividere sui social cercando qualcosa che valga la pena raccontare come una vera esperienza paranormale in Transilvania. La passeggiata nella foresta la consigliamo perché come tutte le foreste sono bellissime, possiedono un fascino particolare e la vista di così tanti alberi emana un flusso di energia positiva, selvaggia e vibrante che ci fa entrare in relazione sempre di più con la natura.

pleasantly attracted by the legend of the twisted trees (presumably curved by a strange and unnatural force) similar to the curved ones in Poland, and also by the strange circular clearing “Poiana Rotundă” where the grass does never grow. Before our visit we had found and printed a map of the forest indicating the locations of the curved trees and… I swear, I looked for them for three hours, but I wasn’t able to find them! The interesting thing is that in order to promote this strange forest as a tourist destination was created the Association RYLEx, where you can
book mini-tours with guides assisting you for several hours, and if you wish even for a whole day with night camp, to better spot the “presences”. Many tourists and children come from different countries to record videos to share on social networks, they look for something worth telling as a true paranormal experience in Transylvania. We recommend the walk in the forest because like all the forests Hoia Baciu is beautiful. Forests have a special charm and the sight of so many trees produces a flow of positive, wild and vibrant energy that makes people increasingly relate to nature.

Museo etnografico di Bucarest Il museo etnografico di Bucarest è sicuramente non solo estremamente bello ed interessante, ma anche uno dei più completi esempi di museo etnografico all’aperto che raccoglie e racconta la storia della vita contadina e della cultura popolare di un periodo storico e di una regione attraverso le tracce
lasciate dagli edifici e dalle suppellettili di un popolo. Come museo all’aperto nacque negli anni trenta del Novecento per opera della sociologa Dimitrie Gusti, ma l’idea originaria si fece strada verso la seconda metà dell’Ottocento in concomitanza dell’Esposizione Universale di Parigi.

La nascita del museo in realtà si inserisce in un contesto culturale molto più ampio a livello europeo che inizia nella prima metà dell’800 dove si incomincia a pensare che anche quella che viene definita “cultura popolare” ovvero la “piccola storia” di professioni, maestranze, usi e costumi locali abbia un interesse storico e culturale rispetto all’approccio che per decine di secoli era stato quello prevalente; ovvero quello che raccontava gli eventi e i popoli esclusivamente attraverso la storia di re, imperatori e papi. Questo cambio di paradigma, ovvero quello di raccontare, mettere per iscritto
e studiare la cultura popolare è legato indissolubilmente alla dissoluzione della cultura orale e contadina ovvero alla nascita della società industriale e della diffusione della stampa. In altre parole, quando scompare, per via dell’inurbamento, la cultura contadina e e quindi la cultura orale che portava con sé, si incomincia a studiarla ed interpretarla. Nel campo letterario succede lo stesso, nell’Ottocento vengono raccolte, ad esempio, in forma scritta nei vari paesi le fiabe della tradizione orale delle varie aree d’Europa; come le fiabe dei fratelli Grimm.
Exposition in Paris.. The realization of the museum was actually part of a much wider cultural context on a European level that began in the first half of the ‘800 when people started to think that also what is called “popular culture” or the “small history” of professions, workers, local customs and traditions had an historical and cultural interest, differently from the approach that for tens of centuries had been the prevailing one; that used to tell about events and people exclusively through the history of kings, emperors and popes. This change of paradigm, that is to tell, write and
study popular culture, is inextricably linked to the dissolution of oral and peasant culture or the birth of the industrial society and the diffusion of the press. In other words, when the urban culture, and the oral culture with it, disappeared due to urbanization, people began to study it and interpret them. In the literary field the same thing happened, in the nineteenth century, for example, the oral traditions of the various areas of Europe were written in the respective countries; to mention one for all: the Grimm brothers’ fairy tales collections. All’interno di questo contesto generale nasce anche l’idea del museo etnografico, ovvero di un luogo, il museo (anche questo è un prodotto del tardo settecento, inizio ottocento) che raccolga in maniera più scientifica possibile le tracce materiali di una cultura che sta scomparendo. Questo museo etnografico è un eccellente esempio di questa storia poiché raccoglie più di 300 fra abitazioni e piccole fattorie provenienti dalla Transilvania dalla Moldova e dalla Valacchia, che rappresentano la vita quotidiana e la cultura di un popolo attraverso i secoli. Gli edifici costruttivamente ricoprono un arco temporale che va dall’inizio del ‘700 alla prima metà del ‘900, ma culturalmente
rappresentano un’ epoca ben più lunga, perché in questi edifici è raccolta una stratificazione di lunga durata di metodi, di lavorazioni e d’usi che sono state tramandate per secoli e secoli e che sono arrivate all’inizio del 900 quasi inalterate. Inoltre, è veramente eccellente il lavoro di ricostruzione che è stato fatto legato all’idea di mantenere non solo l’aspetto esteriore ma anche la materia degli edifici, quindi con un approccio scientifico molto moderno. Non ultima la bellezza è la qualità con cui gli immobili sono stati inseriti in un parco di circa 10 ettari vicino al Lago Cernica dove l’inserimento paesaggistico risulta efficace e coinvolgente. In altre parole, uno dei musei assolutamente più belli, interessanti e coinvolgenti della Regione.
ethnographic museum was born in this general context, that is to say of a place, the museum (a product of the late eighteenth century, beginning of the nineteenth century too) that collects in a scientific way the material traces of a disappearing culture. This ethnographic museum is an excellent example of this story as it brings together more than 300 dwellings and small farms from Transylvania, Moldova and Wallachia, representing the daily life and culture of a people through the centuries. The buildings constructively depict a time span ranging from the beginning of the 18th century to the first half of the 20th century, but culturally represent a much longer period, because these buildings collect a long-term
stratification of methods, workings and habits that have been handed down for centuries and which arrived at the beginning of the ‘900 almost unaltered. Moreover, the reconstruction work were made in respect of the idea of maintaining not only the exterior aspect but also the building material, therefore with a very modern scientific approach. Last but not least the beauty is the quality with which the properties were placed in a park of about 10 hectares near Lake Cernica where the inclusion in the landscape results effective and engaging. In other words, one of the most beautiful, interesting and involving museums of the Region.

Durante la seconda guerra mondiale i tunnel furono utilizzati
come rifugi antiaerei. Successivamente chiusa, nel 1992, la miniera di sale di Turda è stata aperta al pubblico, divenendo un’attrazione turistica e un centro di haloterapia. Nel 2008, è stata oggetto di riammodernamento e miglioramento dei servizi, nell’ambito del programma PHARE 2005 ESC. La miniera si compone di quattro camere principali (di cui due ammodernate e visitabili) e numerose camere e gallerie secondarie.

Quelle assolutamente più scenografiche ed impressionanti sono la miniera Rudolf e la miniera Terezia. La prima, con una profondità di 42 metri, una larghezza di 50 metri e una lunghezza di 80 metri a forma trapezoidale, è anche quella a cui si accede per prima dalla galleria Franz Josef ed è fin da subito un impatto scenografico impressionante. 172 gradini o un ascensore, portano al fondo della miniera, dove all’interno è stato allestito un parco di divertimento,
con varie strutture: una ruota panoramica, un minigolf, una pista da bowling, tavoli da biliardo e ping-pong. La seconda, miniera Terezia, è una miniera conica dove l’estrazione del sale ha creato una struttura di dimensioni impressionanti: 90 metri di altezza e 87 metri di diametro e una profondità dalla bocca del pozzo di accesso di 112 metri. Nel suo fondo vi è un lago sotterraneo che ha una profondità compresa tra 50 cm e 8 m e si estende su circa l’80% della superficie.
