Dear Members,
Spring has arrived early, and I want to provide a few updates regarding Hard Hat Time and Junior Sports.
Hard Hat Time:

The agronomy team has been busy over the past month with the mild weather, cleaning up the course and preparing for Spring. As you have probably noticed the lake on #12 is empty. The Agronomy Team is removing silt from the bottom of the lake and hauling it off property to create more water storage. The lake is our main irrigation source, so during the summer months it is crucial to have good storage capacity The goal is to have this work done next week and fill the lake back up to capacity
With that, we expect to have the golf course open in Mid-March Please refer to the mobile app for tee time availability or check with the Pro Shop
We have finalized plans to have the Tennis Courts resurfaced The process will take approximately two weeks and depending on weather we hope to complete in late April to early May. We have contracted with McDonnel & Associates out of Kansas City as they have recently completed the restoration at Miracle Hills and the JCC. Please stay tuned for updates through the Peek of the Week and our social media channels.
Junior Sports (Kraken Sports):
Registration is open, and you can register for Kraken Sports by using the Champions Run mobile app or visiting www.championsummer.com.
A returning event this year is “MEET THE PROS”. The purpose of the event is to assist with summer registration, answer any questions regarding programing and to the meet coaches. Here are a few details to know:
Who: The entire family
What: To meet many of our summer coaches and ask questions
When: Tuesday, March 12th from 5:30 to 7:30 p m – Open House Format
Where: Champions Run Pavilion
Why: Krakens rock and there’s Family Pasta Night in the restaurant
Please note that if you wish to attend dinner in the restaurant you need to make a reservation by calling Reid at 402-498-8900 or using the mobile app. It is going to be a fun night and one that we cannot wait to share with you.
