UCBB’s Sport and Exercise Science department will prepare you to enter this exciting industry at a high level.

There is an increasing demand for people with a combination of both academic and practical competence within the sector, therefore our expert lecturers ensure that all of our programmes have a vocational and applied nature. We make sure you have access to work experience opportunities, for instance UCBB offers high quality applied internships in high performance sport with our sport academies.

Your Learning Environment

You will have access to outstanding sport facilities, including the Centre for Sport and Exercise Science. The centre incorporates the Human Performance Laboratory, which houses a range of equipment used to test and analyse human performance and physiological capabilities. It is also home to our Sport and Exercise Therapy Clinic, which provides treatment for a range of sporting and clinical patients. In addition, UCBB has a multi-station gym, dance studio, strength and conditioning suite, sports halls, 3G and grass playing pitches.

You will benefit from our outstanding links with professional teams, including Hull City Tigers, as well as national governing bodies and regional sports development. Our new BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy and Rehabilitation is also accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists, giving you professional license to practice status.
